® Backlight Button BT-80-TP Operation Guide Bluetooth® Button Power Button Note: The BT-80-TP ships from iKey with the internal battery fully charged and ready to use out of the box. Pairing Instructions iKey’s BT-80-TP unit is compatible with any device that has built in Bluetooth® functionality. 7. Enter the numeric code given by the wizard using the BT-80-TP keyboard, then press the “Enter” key. 1. Hold down the “Power” button on the keyboard until the light flashes red. 8. The BT-80-TP will then be paired with the device and is ready for use by placing the cursor anywhere you wish to type. 2. Hold down the “Bluetooth®” button on the keyboard until the light flashes blue. 3. Press the “Settings” icon on your host device with which you are attempting to pair. 4. Select “Bluetooth®” from the “Settings” menu (Bluetooth® is the third choice in the menu). 5. Your device is now in ‘discoverable’ mode. Initially, the “Bluetooth®” button on the BT-80-TP may give a very short flash, but will then continue to blink steadily until the unit is paired with the device. 6. Tap “IKEY Bluetooth Keyboard” from the list of devices that will appear on your screen. Charging Instructions • To charge the keyboard, insert the provided Micro USB charging cable into the back of the keyboard and plug the other end of the cable into a powered USB port on any computer. The Charging LED indicator will illuminate orange when charging and will turn off when fully charged.
