rangereadingofhighfrequency(HF)tags.Themoduleconsistsofaradiomodule,loop
antenna,andaUARThostinterfaceonasinglefootprintof40mmx40mmx6.5mm.

ReadthefollowingprecautionsbeforeusingtheRFIDReaderandcard.Adheretothe
precautionstoavoidmalfunctionsandfailurescausedbymisuse.
1AvoidusingtheRFIDReaderinthepresenceofstrongelectomagneticwaves.
TheRFIDReadersuppliespowertothecardortagusinganelectromagneticwaveto
communicatewiththecardortag.Thepresenceofstrongelectromagneticwaves
affectscommunicationbetweentheRFIDReaderandcardortag,causingreduced
accessareaorinabilitytoaccessthecard.TesttheRFIDReaderusingtheactualpower
sourceintheinstallationlocationenvironmentbeforeuse.
2Keepprecisiondevicesthatmightbeaffectedbyelectromagneticwavesawayfrom
theRFIDReader.
BecausetheRFIDReaderconstantlyemitsanelectromagneticwaveofabout
13.56MHz,placingprecisiondevicesthatmightbeaffectedbyelectromagneticwaves
nearthereadercancausemalfunctionorfailureofthedevices.Whenoperatingthe
reader,keepprecisiondevicesawayfromtheRFIDReader.Ifsuchprecisiondevices
mustbelocatedneartheRFIDReader,shieldtheprecisiondeviceswithametalcover
andtestthedevicestocheckforanyinfluence.
3AvoidusingmultipleRFIDReadersinproximitytoeachother.
TheRFIDReadersuppliespowertothecardortagusinganelectromagneticwaveto
communicatewiththecardortagandconstantlyemitsanelectromagneticwaveof
about13.56MHz.Usingmultiplereadersinproximitytoeachothercauses
interference,interruptscommunicationbetweenthecardandreader,andprevents
accesstothecard.
Safety Information
TomaintaincompliancewiththeFCCRFexposureguidelines,installandoperatethis
equipmentwithaminimumdistanceof20cmbetweentheradiatorandyourbody.
Useonlywiththesuppliedantenna.Unauthorizedantenna,modification,orattachments
candamagethetransmitterandviolateFCCregulations.
