Safety instructions:
Lithium battery:
IUC150 device is equipped with a lithium battery non-accessible to the user. Only a
qualified operator is authorized to open the unit and replace this component.
Batterie lithium:
L’IUC150 est équipé d’une batterie lithium non accessible par l’utilisateur. Seule une
personne qualifiée est autorisée à ouvrir l’IUC150 pour remplacer la batterie.
VORSICHT:
IUC150 ist mit einer Lithium-Batterie, die nicht zugänglich ist für den Benutzer ausgestattet.
Der Wiedereinbau der Batterien muß von qualifiziertem Personal bewirkt werden.
Beachten Sie die Polarität für die Batterie Lithium. Eine fehlerhafte Installation der Batterie
kann eine Explosion führen. Entsorgen Sie die Batterien entsprechend den Anweisungen
des Herstellers.
CAUTION: For Switzerland, Annex 4.10 of SR 814.013 applies for batteries
Power supply network: To cut off the IUC150 power, disconnect the power adapter from
the power supply network. You should provide a socket for the incoming power supply
satisfying the following conditions:
Socket near the device and easy to access;
Socket in line with the standards and regulations in force in the country of use;
The protection in the installation must be 20A for pluggable equipment type A.
Réseau d’alimentation électrique : Pour couper l’alimentation IUC150, débrancher le câble
secteur à partir du réseau d’alimentation. Vous devez fournir une prise d’alimentation
répondants aux conditions suivantes :
Prise à proximité de l’appareil et facilement accessible ;
Prise en conformité ave les normes et règlements en vigueur dans le pays d’utilisation ;
La protection de l’installation doit être de 20A pour les équipements de type A.

Die Steckdose und das Stromnetzwerk müßen den inländischen Normen und Richtlinien
entsprechen.
Das Stromnetzwerk muß eine 20A Hochleistungs-Sicherung für steckbare Geräte Typ A
anbieten.

The power supplies which are connected to the product must be SELV circuit and must be
limited power sources reading clause 2.5 of the standards IEC60950-1:2005 Edition 2 +
A1/2009 and EN60950-1:2006 + A11/2009 + A1/2010 + A12/2011.
RS232 circuit connected to the product must be SELV circuit.

This product is labeled in accordance with European Directives 2002/96/EC concerning
Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) and 2006/66/EC concerning Batteries
and Accumulators. Those provisions are requiring producers and manufacturers to become
liable for take-back, treatment and recycling upon end of life of equipment and batteries.
The associated symbol means that WEEE and waste batteries must not be thrown
away but collected separately and recycled.
Ingenico ensures that efficient collection and recycling schemes are set-up for
WEEE and batteries according to the local regulation of your country. Please contact your
retailers for more detailed information about the compliance solution in place for
disposing of your old product and used batteries.
Packaging waste must also be collected separately to assure a proper disposal and
recycling.
Please note that proper recycling of the electrical and electronic equipment and waste
batteries will ensure safety of human health and environment.
