2. Pull the tab from the battery’s + lead.
3. Place a selection jumper on the appropriate frequency band selection
pins.
• Leave the jumper off the pins to select 902-928 MHz for North
America.
• Place the jumper on the top two pins to select 921-928 MHz for New
Zealand.
• Place the jumper on the bottom two pins to select 915-928 MHz for
Australia.
4. Press the Reset button.
Caution: When pressing the Reset button, make sure you don’t also touch
the frequency band selection pins. Touching the frequency band selection
pins while pressing the Reset button can inadvertently set the EN1262 to
the wrong frequency band.
2.2 Set Zones
1. If masking is required, use the PIR zone diagram and the lens inside
view diagram to choose the appropriate zones to be masked. Use
opaque masking material, such as electrical tape.

4. If using the optional housing screws, use the included screws to secure
the housing.
Caution: The EN1262 should be tested after registration to ensure
operation. To test the EN1262, activate each of the conditions and ensure
an appropriate response.
3 Testing
Once the battery is installed, the unit enters a three-minute non-alarming
stabilization period indicated by the LED flashing once per second. After
the stabilization period, the unit requires two seconds of quiet. After that
two seconds, the unit will remain in walk test mode until it is left untripped
for 120 seconds.
