Specifically designed for high security applications

in prisons,

military installations, government facilities,

and commercial operations the Sentrol 2757/2767

Series Magnetic Contacts are virtually impossible to

defeat

. Total encapsulation coupled with recess

mounting prevents access to the switch and to cabling,

and prevents tampering with an external magnet

. These

contacts are factory calibrated for operation in steel and

are not subject to sticking or freezing on seldom-used

doors

. In addition, the 2767 Contacts are adjustable for

use in loose fitting doors

.

Series

Product Descriptions and Specifications

The 2757/2767 is comprised of three independent Form C

biased reed switches wired in SPOT configuration

. The

2757D has six independent Form C biased reed switches

wired in DPDT configuration

.

They all conform to the specifications for Class IV

Preadjusted Balanced Magnetic Contacts and are UL rated

.

For central station direct wire circuits (indoor and outdoor)

.

Each contact and magnet has a face plate of 14 ga

. stainless

steel with mounting holes on 4

.125" centers, countersunk for

#8 flathead screws

. All contacts and magnets are potted in

polyurethane in their respective housings

.

The contacts have an actuating gap distance (make) of up to

.031 cm), and are provided with a supervised loop

.

The 2767 contact is adjustable ±0

.3" from end to end, and

Installation Instructions

The 2757/2767 Magnetic Contacts are designed to fit into

standard ANSI cutouts for mortise installation

. If door and

jamb are provided with ANSI cutouts and blanks, simply

remove the blanks and install the switch and magnet in

place
