Attached please find our response to your request for information regarding the Intermec Technology
submittal application for grant of certification for HN21555-2450, EA100016. A copy of the request is

The manual statement concerning RF Safety does not agree with the SAR report. The SAR report
indicates 5 cm from the body. However, an additional statement was added to maintain 4 cm from the
operators body, eyes, etc... Provide additional SAR data to reflect the new additional RF safety
language.
The items indicated above must be submitted before processing can continue on the above referenced
application. Failure to provide the requested information within 60 days of the original e-mail date may
result in application dismissal pursuant to Section 2.917 (c) and forfeiture of the filing fee pursuant to
section 1.1108.

RESPONSE
There was a type mistake in the operator’s manual. It erroneously stated 4cm (2 inches) and should
read 5cm (2 inches). This type mistake has been corrected and a copy of the corrected page has been
submitted to the FCC for approval. We apologize for the error and request you continue with the Grant
of Certification.
