1 INTRODUCTION
This document is a high level user instruction for KONE Wibe wireless BLE sensor board
2 POWER RATING OF THE DEVICE
•3 V 15mA
3 DEVICE DESCRIPTION
•KONE Wibe is a wireless sensor board with Bluetooth (BLE) connection intended to be used in
elevator doors for measuring and storing information about the condition and use of doors.
4 KONE WIBE INSTALLATION
•KONE Wibe shall only be installed to Kone elevators
•KONE Wibe shall be installed permanently to the elevator door
•KONE Wibe shall be supplied with 3V Lithium coin cell battery and is not electrically connected
any parts of the Kone elevator system
5 USE OF KONE WIBE DEVICE
•Only Kone maintenance personnel have access to the device.
•The device operates independently in the elevator and has a single button for setting up the
functionality
•The device will allow BLE connection to a device which is programmed to the system.
•The device supports only BLE data transfer connection and doesn’t support voice call
•The system does not support emergency call e.g. 112 or 911.
Warning: It is recommend a minimum separation distance (20 cm at minimum) between the device
and nearby persons.

7 BATTERY SAFETY
