KONE Wibe
INTRODUCTION
This document is a high level user instruction for KONE Wibe wireless BLE sensor board
POWER RATING OF THE DEVICE

DEVICE DESCRIPTION
•
3 V 15mA
KONE Wibe is a wireless sensor board with Bluetooth (BLE) connection intended to be used in
elevator doors for measuring and storing information about the condition and use of doors.
KONE WIBE INSTALLATION
•
KONE Wibe shall only be installed to Kone elevators
•
KONE Wibe shall be installed permanently to the elevator door
•
KONE Wibe shall be supplied with 3V Lithium coin cell battery and is not electrically connected
any parts of the Kone elevator system
USE OF KONE WIBE DEVICE
•
Only Kone maintenance personnel have access to the device.
•
The device operates independently in the elevator and has a single button for setting up the
functionality
•
The device will allow BLE connection to a device which is programmed to the system.
•
The device supports only BLE data transfer connection and doesn’t support voice call
•
The system does not support emergency call e.g. 112 or 911.
Warning: It is recommend a minimum separation distance (20 cm at minimum) between the device
and nearby persons.
