Make sure the keyboard is turned off beforecleaning. Do not use liquid cleanser.

Plug the other end into a powered USB port on a computer.While charging, the Charge indicator light will illuminate red in colour. Oncecharging is complete the indicator light will turn off.
Note: If the Charge light is blinking while the keyboard case is in use, it isindicating that the power level is low and will need to charge.Power on the keyboard case and pair with iPadThe keyboard case should only need to pair to your iPad once as follows:1. Slide the power switch to the ON position. The Bluetooth indicator lightwill illuminate for a brief moment.2. Press the connect button on the keyboard case and the Bluetooth lightwill start to flash.3. On the iPad, select Settings > Bluetooth, then slide the Bluetooth switchto the “ON” position (toward the right) and your iPad will start to searchfor Bluetooth devices.4. Once the list of Devices is shown, select Hipstreet Keyboard5. A pop up window will appear prompting you to enter a code on thekeyboard case.6. Enter the code and press ENTER on the keyboard case.7. The iPad will show the keyboard case as Connected8. The keyboard case is now ready to usePositioning the iPadThe iPad can be positioned in landscape mode. Simply place the iPadaccordingly into the groove.Special function keysThe keyboard case is equipped with iPad function and multimedia keys alongthe top.Storing the iPad with the keyboard caseWhen traveling or storing the keyboard case with iPad, place the iPad facedown onto the keyboard case until clicked in.When removing the iPad from the keyboard case, place the iPad / keyboardcase on a non-slip surface and carefully separate the two. DO NOT separate
while standing or without placing it on a secure non-stick surface in case youaccidentally drop the units.Energy Saving Sleep ModeWhile powered on, the keyboard case will enter into sleep mode when inactivefor approximately 15 minutes. When the battery is low, some keys will reactslowly or won’t work. You should charge the keyboard.Check that the power switch is in the “ON” position.Re-pair the keyboard with your iPad.Ensure the code entered is correct and entered within 20 seconds of beingdisplayed. (Don’t forget to press the “enter” key on the keyboard afterentering PIN)
