II-APPUCATION
REVERSING

Indoor blower control kit (LB-58773DA) is used to provide the option of varying indoor blower speeds during
compressor operation, This option is especially important in locations with high humidity. The indoor blower
speed control kit provides use of a lower indoor speed
dining continuous fen or low speed compressor operatlon, Increasing the effectiveness of humidity removal. A
I'dgherIndoor blower speed which satisfies cfm requiremerits can then be selected for use during high speed
compressor operation.

3- Use ctm tables In Lennox engineering handbook to
select a speed tap connection for wire from terminal
3 of existing indoor blower relay. This will be the indoor blower speed for continuous indoor fan operation end blower speed d_ing low speed compressor
operation.
NOTE-For most effective humidity control, lowest p_sslble indoor blower speed should be selected for low
speed compressor operation.
4- Use cfrn tables in Lennox engineering handbook to
select a speed tap connection for wire from normally
open contact of kit relay. This will be the Indoor blower speed during high speed compressor operation.
5- Replace access panels and restore electrical power
to unit.

1- Disconnect wires from terminal 4 and connect therrn
to te_Tninal3 of the existing Indoor blower relay.
2- Disconnect blower motor lead wire from terminal 2
and connect it to terminal 5 of the existing Indoor
blower relay.
3- Disconnect wire from terminal I and connect itto terminal 2 of the existing Indoor blower relay.
4- Connect red wire from common terminal of kit control
relay to terminal 1 of existing indoor blower relay.
5- Connect yellow wire from normally closed terminal
of kit relay to terminal 4 of existing indoor blower
relay.
6- Use CFM table in the Lennox engineering handbook
to select a speed and blower motor lead wire to connect to terminal 6 of the existing indoor blower relay.
This will be the Indoor blower speed for continuous
indoor fan operation and blower speed during low
speed compressor operation.
NOTE-For most effective humidity control, lowest possible indoor blower speed should be selected for low
speed compressor operation,

1- Disconnect black blower motor lead wire from terminal "A"of BCC2 board.

7- Use CFM tables in Lennox Engineering Handbook to
select a speed tap connection for black wire from the
normally open contact of the kit relay. This will be the
indoor blower speed during hLghspeed compressor

black wire from the normally open terminal of kit relay
using a wire nut. This will be the indoor blower speed
dudng high speed compressor operation.

1- Remove and discard the red wire from the common
terminal of the kit relay,
2- Disconnect wires from terminal 3 of existing indoor
blower relay and connect them to the common terminal of the kit relay.

4- Connect yellow wire (provided) from normally closed
terminal of kit relay to terminal 4, 5, or 6 of jack J43
on blower motor. This will be in the indoor blower
speed for low speed compressor operation. Continuous blower speed may be at a different speed. See
figure 3.

3- Connect yellow wire form normally closed terminal
of kit relay to terminal 3 of the existing indoor blower
relay.
4- Use CFM table in the Lennox engineering handbook
to select a speed and blower motor lead wire to connect to terminal 6 of the existing indoor blower relay.
