It is selfpowered having its own power supply and needs an external AC power source. The USB tilt/swivel stand provides up to seven downstream ports of you to connect USB compliant options. All downstream ports support both full- and low-speed operations. You install the USB tilt/swivel stand instead of the normal tilt/swivel stand that comes with your monitor. If your monitor already has a stand installed on it, you will need to remove this stand first, before installing the USB tilt/swivel stand. Tilt/Swivel Stand Installation Removing a Previously Installed Tilt/Swivel Stand To remove the stand already installed on your monitor, pull on the latch or other mechanism to remove the stand. Refer to your monitor installation guide for specific instructions. Installing the USB Tilt/Swivel Stand To install the tilt/swivel stand: Insert the hooks on the stand into the bottom of the monitor. Apply pressure near the back of the bash so it slides forward and become secure. Set the monitor on the stand. Connect the power unit to back of the tilt/swivel stand and to the power source.
