TrytominimizeexposingtheLouisVuittonTambourConnectedtothesesubstances:soap,detergent,

acidsoracidicfoods,andanyliquidsotherthanfreshwater,suchassaltwater,soapywater,pool

water,perfume,insectrepellent,lotions,sunscreen,oil,adhesiveremover,hairdye,orsolvents.

IfyourLouisVuittonTambourConnectedhasaleatherbracelet,beawarethatleatherbandsarenot

waterresistant.

ThefollowingmayaffectthewaterresistanceoftheLouisVuittonTambourConnectedandshould

beavoided:

•DroppingtheLouisVuittonTambourConnectedorsubjectingittoimpacts.

•ExposingtheLouisVuittonTambourConnectedtopressurizedwaterorhighvelocitywater,for

(iii)Usingbuttons,DigitalCrown,connectors,andports

NeverapplyexcessivepressuretoabuttonontheLouisVuittonTambourConnected,orforcea

chargingconnectorintoaport,becausethismaycausedamagethatisnotcoveredunderthe

guaranteeand/orUSLimitedWarranty.Iftheconnectorandportdonotjoinwithreasonableease,

theyprobablydonotmatch.Checkforobstructionsandmakesurethattheconnectormatchesthe

portandthatyouhavepositionedtheconnectorcorrectlyinrelationtotheport.

Certainusagepatternscancontributetothefrayingorbreakingofcables.Thecableattachedtoa

chargingunit,likeanyothermetalwireorcable,issubjecttobecomingweakorbrittleifrepeatedly

bentinthesamespot.Aimforgentlecurvesinsteadofanglesinthecable.Regularlyinspectthe

cableandconnectorforanykinks,breaks,bends,orotherdamage.Shouldyoufindanysuchdamage,

discontinueuseofthecable.

Discolorationoftheaccessories(cable,plugs)afterregularuseisnormal.Dirt,debris,andexposure

tomoisturemaycausediscoloration.IfyouraccessoriesbecomewarmduringuseoriftheLouis

VuittonTambourConnecteddoesnotchargeorsync,disconnectthecablefromthepoweradapter

andcleantheaccessorieswithanonabrasive,dry,lint‐freecloth.Donotuseliquidsorcleaning

productswhencleaningtheaccessories.

DiscolorationofthechargingsurfaceoftheLouisVuittonTambourConnectedchargingaccessories

mayoccurafterregularuse.Cleaningthechargingsurfacemayreduce,orprevent,suchdiscoloration,

andwillhelptopreventdamagetoyourchargerandtheLouisVuittonTambourConnected.Toclean

thechargingsurface,disconnectthechargerfromboththeLouisVuittonTambourConnectedand

thepoweradapterandwipewithadamp,nonabrasivecloth.Drywithanonabrasive,lint‐freecloth

beforeresumingcharging.Donotusecleaningproductswhencleaningthechargingsurface.

b‐Chargingaccessories

TochargetheLouisVuittonTambourConnected,useonlyapprovedchargingaccessories.

YourLouisVuittonTambourConnectedisprovidedwiththefollowingchargingaccessories:micro

USBcable,chargingcradleandwallplug.Useonlyapprovedchargingaccessories.

Whenachargerisnotinuse,disconnectitfromthepowersource.

ItisimportanttokeeptheLouisVuittonTambourConnectedandtheaccessoriesprovidedtherewith

inawell‐ventilatedareawhencharging.

UsethechargingaccessoriesprovidedwiththeLouisVuittonTambourConnectedoranyother

LouisVuittonapprovedchargingaccessoriesonlyfromthetypeofpowersourceindicatedonthe

label.Beforeyouuseanypowersupply,verifythatthemains(AC)voltageisinaccordancewiththe

voltageprintedonthepowersupply.

Donotoverloadpoweroutlet,extensioncordsorconveniencereceptaclesbecausethismightresult

youplugtheadapterintoapoweroutlet.AvoidchargingtheLouisVuittonTambourConnectedin

directsunlight.DonotweartheLouisVuittonTambourConnectedwhileitischarging.

bracelets,crystalsandbatteries,oranydamagetothecaseorhardwareduetomoisturethatmight

Thisguaranteegivesyouspecificlegalrightsandyoumayalsohaveotherrightsunderlocallaws

whichvaryfromcountrytocountry.LouisVuittonanditsstoresshallhavesolediscretiontodecide

torepairorreplaceanyLouisVuittontimepieceunderthislimitedinternationalguarantee.Tothe

extentpermittedbythelocallaw,LouisVuittonshallnotbeliableforanyincidental,special,punitive

orconsequentialdamages.ThislimitedguaranteemaybetransferredwiththeLouisVuitton

TambourConnected.

WerecommendthatyoubringyourLouisVuittonTambourConnectedtothenearestLouisVuitton

store.ThislistofLouisVuittonstoresworldwidecanbefoundattheendofthisbooklet.This

guaranteedoesnotaffectyourlegalrightsasaconsumer.Pleasecheckthatthisbookletcontainsa

stampdatedandsigned–otherwiseyouwillnotbecoveredbythelimitedguaranteeservices

outlinedabove.

YourLouisVuittonTambourConnectedcomewithguaranteesthatcannotbeexcludedunderthe

ConsumerProtectionLaw:Consumersorothervictimssufferingpersonalinjuriesorproperty

damageresultingfromproductdefectsmaydemandcompensationseitherfromthesellerorfrom

themanufacturer.

Inaddition:

• Ifanyqualitydefectsoccurtoaproductwithinsevendaysafterpurchase,theconsumermay

choosetoreturntheproduct,orrequestsellertoreplaceorrepairtheproductatconsumer’s

discretion.Wheretheconsumerchoosestoreturntheproductwithqualitydefect,theseller

shouldrefundthepurchaseprice.

• Ifanyqualitydefectoccurswithin15daysafterthepurchase,theconsumermayrequestthe

sellertoreplaceorrepairtheproductsathis/herdiscretion.Wheretheconsumerchoosesto

replacetheproductwithqualitydefects,thesellershouldreplacetheproductwiththesametype

andspecificationsfreeofcharge.

• Withinoneyearafterthepurchase,iftheproductisnotfitforitsintendeduseaftertworounds

ofrepair,afterconsumerpresentsrelevantrepairrecords,thesellershallreplacetheproducts

withaproductofthesametypeandspecificationsfreeofcharge,orrefundpurchasepriceafter

deductionofanydepreciationcost.



SPECIFICADDITIONALTERMSOFGUARANTEESAPPLICABLETOFRANCE

ThisInternationalGuaranteeisinadditiontootherrightsandremediesavailabletoyouunderlaw,

whichmaynotbeexcluded.Withrespecttotheabovementionedlimitedinternationalguarantee,

“whenthebuyerasksthesellertocarryoutrepairscoveredbyhiscommercialguaranteeuponthe

acquisitionandthereparationofamovableasset,theperiodofanyresultantshutdownofsevendays

orlongershallbeaddedtotheunexpiredtermoftheguarantee.Thesaidperiodshallrunfromthe

timewhenthebuyerrequestsassistanceorthetimewhentheproductinquestionistakenoutof

servicependingrepair,shouldthisbesubsequenttotherequestforassistance”(articleL211‐16ofthe

FrenchConsumerCode).

Notwithstandinganythingtothecontraryinthisguarantee,inadditiontothelimitedinternational

guarantee,LouisVuittonisliablefortheFrenchlegal(i)guaranteeofconformitydescribedinarticles

L211‐4toL211‐13oftheFrenchConsumerCode,and(ii)guaranteeagainsthiddendefectsinthe

conditionssetoutinarticles1641to1648and2232oftheFrenchCivilCode.

Withrespecttotheguaranteeagainsthiddendefect,accordingtoarticle1641oftheFrenchCivil

Code“thesellerisboundtoaguaranteeagainsthiddendefectsinthethingsoldthatrenderitunfit

foritsintendeduse,orthatsoimpairitsusethatthebuyerwouldnothaveboughtit,orwouldonly

havegivenalesserpriceforitifhehadknownofthedefects”,andtothefirstparagraphofarticle

1648ofthesameCode“anactionresultingfromredhibitorydefectsmustbebroughtbythebuyer

withintwoyearsfromthediscoveryofthedefect”.Withrespecttotheguaranteeofconformity,

accordingtoarticlesL211‐4andL211‐5oftheFrenchConsumerCode“thesellerisrequiredtodeliver

aproductwhichconformstothecontractandisheldliableforanylackofconformitywhichexists

upondelivery.Heisalsoheldliableforanylackofconformitycausedbythepackagingorthe

assemblyinstructions,ortheinstallationifheassumedresponsibilitytherefororhaditcarriedout

underhisresponsibility”and“toconformtothecontract,theproductmust:

1.Besuitableforthepurposeusuallyassociatedwithsuchaproductand,ifapplicable:‐correspond

tothedescriptiongivenbythesellerandhavethefeaturesthatthesellerpresentedtothebuyerin

theformofasampleormodel;‐havethefeaturesthatabuyermightreasonablyexpecttohave

consideringthepublicstatementsmadebytheseller,theproducerorhisrepresentative,including

advertisingandlabeling;

2.Orhavethefeaturesdefinedbymutualagreementbetweenthepartiesorbesuitableforany

specialrequirementofthebuyerwhichwasmadeknowntothesellerandwhichthelatteragreedto”.

Tobenefitfromtherightsgrantedbythistwo‐yearguarantee,youmustinformLouisVuitton

CustomerServiceCenterofthelackofconformityoftheWatchwithinaperiodoftwomonthsfrom

thedateonwhichyoudetectedsuchlackofconformity.Anyrepairorreplacementshouldbe

completedwithinaperiodofthirtydays,withoutanysignificantinconveniencetoyou.

Theabovemanufacturer’sguarantee:(i)isindependentofanyguaranteethatmaybeprovidedby

theseller,forwhichhecarriessoleresponsibility;(ii)doesnotaffectyourstatutoryrightstowards

theseller,themanufacturerorthedistributor.



ThisInternationalGuaranteeisinadditiontootherrightsandremediesavailabletoyouunderthe

guaranteethatcannotbeexcludedundertheRussianLaw‘OntheProtectionofConsumers’Rights”.

1.IfyourLouisVuittongoodsaredefective,youareentitledtoareplacement(withthesameLouis

Vuittongoodsorsimilargoodsofanothermanufacturerwiththepurchasepricebeingrecalculated)

orarefundforamajorfailureandcompensationforanyotherreasonablyforeseeablelossor

damage.Further,thecustomerisalsoentitledtohavethegoodsrepairedifthegoodshavenot

sufferedamajorfailure.

2.TheabsenceofaproperlycompletedguaranteecarddoesnotreleaseLouisVuittonfromits

guaranteeobligations.

3.Theusefullifeofthewatchistwoyears.

4.TherepresentativeofthemanufacturerinRussia,authorisedtoaddressconsumerclaimsisyour

nearestLouisVuittonstoreinRussia.



ThisInternationalGuaranteeisinadditiontootherrightsandremediesavailabletoyouunderlocal

law,whichmaynotbeexcluded.UnderTurkishlaws,theguaranteeperiodis2yearsbeginningasof

thedeliverydateofthegoodsandtheexpectedlifespanoftheproductis2years.Thefullestextent

ofthegoodsincludingallpartsiswithinthescopeofguarantee.Incasethegoodisevaluatedas

defective,theconsumercanuseoneoftherightsgrantedinArticle11oftheLawRegarding

ProtectionofConsumersnumbered6502,

•cancellationofthecontract,

•discountinthesalespriceinproportiontothedefect,

•free‐of‐chargerepair,

•replacementofthedefectivegoodwithanewone.

Thesellerisliabletoperformsuchrequestpreferredbytheconsumer.Iffree‐of‐chargerepairor

replacementofthedefectivegoodleadstodisproportionatedifficultiesfortheseller,theconsumer

cancanceltheagreementorrequestadiscountinthesalespriceinproportiontothedefect.In

determiningwhatisdisproportionate,thevalueofthegoodfreefromthedefects,severityofthe

defectandwhetherornottheexerciseofotheroptionalrightswouldconstituteaproblemforthe

consumershallbetakenintoaccount.Incasetherightofreplacementofthegoodswithanewone

ischosen,itisrequiredtosatisfysuchrequestwithinthirtybusinessdaysatmostasfromdirectingit

totheseller,manufacturerortheimporter.Otherwise,theconsumerisfreetouseotheroptional

rights.

Incasetheconsumerchoosestherightoffreeofchargerepair,thesellerisliabletorepairortohave

repairedtheproductwithoutdemandingthecostoflabor,thepriceofreplacedpartsoranyother

costsunderwhatsoevername.Youmayusetherightoffreeofchargerepairorreplacementofthe

goodwithanewoneagainstthemanufacturerorimporteraswell.Theseller,manufacturerandthe

importerareseverallyresponsibleforperformingsuchrightswithinthisparagraph.

Themanufacturerortheimportershallnotbeheldliablewheretheycanprovethatthedefect

occurredaftertheyreleasedthegoodintothemarket.Incasetherightoffreeofchargerepairis

usedbytheconsumer,youcanrequestforrefundofthepurchaseprice,deductionfromthe

purchasepriceintherateofthedefector,ifpossible,replacementofthegoodwithanewonefrom

thesellerintheeventsthat;

•theproductisbrokendownagainwithintheguaranteeperiod,

•maximumperiodfortherepairisexceeded,

•itisdeterminedthatrepairoftheproductisnotpossible,throughareportissuedbyauthorized

technicalstation,seller,manufacturerorimporter.Thesellercannotrejecttherequestofthe

consumer.Ifsuchclaimisnotsatisfied,theseller,manufacturerandtheimporterareseverally

responsible.

Therepairperiodofthegoodsismaximum20businessdays.Otherwise,youarefreetouseother

grantedoptionalrights.Thisperiodbeginsasofthenotificationdateofthefaulttotheauthorized

servicestationorthesellerwithintheguaranteeperiod,andthedeliverydateofthegoodtothe

authorizedservicestationwithouttheguaranteeperiod.Incasethefaultisnotrepairedwithin10

businessday,thesellerortheimportershallbeliabletoassignanothergoodhavingsimilarfeatures

fortheuseoftheconsumeruntiltherepairisfinished.Incasethegoodisbrokendownwithinthe

guaranteeperiod,theperiodinrepairshallbeaddedtoguaranteeperiod.

Incaseyouchoosetherightsofcancellationofthecontractordiscountinthesalespricein

proportiontothedefect,allpaidamountorthediscountedamountinthesalespriceshallbe

refundedtoyouimmediately.

Allcostsgeneratedfromtheuseofoptionalrightsshallbefulfilledbythepartyperformingsuch

rightsoftheconsumer.Youmayalsorequestforthecompensationinaccordancewiththeprovisions

oftheTurkishCodeofObligationsdatedJanuary11,2011andnumbered6098togetherwithoneof

theseoptionalrights.

Thefaultsarisingfromtheimproperuseofthegoodsagainstthefactsindicatedinguidelinesforuse

areoutoftheguaranteescope.

ofCustomsandTradeGeneralDirectorateofConsumerProtectionandMarketSurveillance.

IfyourLouisVuittongoodsaredefective,youareentitledtoareplacementorrefundforamajor

failureormaybeentitledtorecovercostsforanamountforthereductionintheproduct’svalueand

insomecasescompensationforlossordamage.Youarealsoentitledtohavethegoodsrepairedor

Whatiscovered?

ThisUnitedStatesLimitedWarranty(“USLimitedWarranty”)appliestotheLouisVuittonTambour

ConnectedsoldwithintheUnitedStatesanditsterritoriesatLouisVuittonstores.UnderthisUS

LimitedWarranty,LouisVuittonagreestorepair,freeofcharge,anyproblemwiththefunctionsof

yourLouisVuittonTambourConnectedthatresultfromdefectsinmaterialsandworkmanshipand

arisewithinthetwo‐yearperiodcommencingonthedateofpurchase.

Whatisnotcovered?

ThisUSLimitedWarrantydoesnotapplytodamageresultingfromserviceprovidedanywhereother

thanataLouisVuittonStore,whichshallvoidthisUSLimitedWarranty.ThisUSLimitedWarranty

doesnotcoveranysoftware,bracelets,crystalsandbatteries,oranydamagetothecaseor

hardwareduetomoisturethatmighthaveenteredtheLouisVuittonTambourConnectedasaresult

ofimproperhandling.Moregenerally,itdoesnotapplyiftherehasbeenimproperorinadequateuse

oftheLouisVuittonTambourConnectedsuchaswhere:

•theproducthasbeendismantledbytheuserorbyunauthorizedperson;

•theproducthasbeenconnectedtonon‐recommendedaccessoriessuchasotherbatterytypeor

charger;

•theproducthasbeenvoluntarilydegradedorusedoutoftherecommendedrulesforproduct

start‐uporusagesuchaswrongplug‐in;

•theproducthasbeenexposedtoextravoltageorelectricdischarges,importantshocks,dropor

abnormalmechanicalstressleadingtomajordegradationofproducthousing,electroniccomponents;

•theproducthasbeenabnormallyexposedtowaterorotherchemicalsubstances(presenceof

corrosion,humidity);

•theproducthasbeendamagedbyaccident,abuse,misuse,fire,earthquakeorotherexternalcause;

•theproducthasbeenstolen(orLouisVuittonreasonablybelievestheproducthasbeenstolen

baseduponinformationprovidedbylawenforcementauthorities);

•youareunabletodeactivatepasscode‐enabledorothersecuritymeasuresdesignedtoprevent

unauthorizedaccess;

•theproducthasbeenexposedtohightemperature(greaterthan60°C/140°F)orotherextreme

environmentalconditions;

•theproducthasbeendamagedorhasfailedduetoanycommunicationserviceyousubscribeto;or

•anattempttomodifyproductsoftwarehasbeenperformedorwheretheserialnumbers,datetags

ororiginalcasebackhavebeenremoved,modified,falsified,altered,replaced,erased,defacedor

madeillegible.

IfoneortheabovementioneditemsareobserveduponinspectionbyLouisVuitton,thentheLouis

VuittonTambourConnectedwillnotbecoveredbythisUSLimitedWarranty.

Inaddition,thisUSLimitedWarrantywillnotapplytonormalwearandtear,suchasthewearand

agingofyourLouisVuittonTambourConnectedduetonormalusage,includinganymaterialsurface

degradationduetothenormalusageoftheproduct,scratchesonthecase,rubber,glass,dust

intrusionordegradedsurfaces,changeofcolorofpartsduetoexpositiontosolarradiationor

contactwithanychemicalsubstance,ortodegradationofautonomyperformanceduetobattery

normalagingafteroneyear.

ThisUSLimitedWarrantydoesnotapplytosoftwareoraccessories(whetherprovidedbyLouis

Vuittonorbyathirdparty).

ThisUSLimitedWarrantyextendstothefirstconsumerpurchaserandmaybetransferredwithyour

LouisVuittonTambourConnected.ToenforcethisUSLimitedWarranty,thecurrentownerofthe

LouisVuittonTambourConnectedmustpresenttheinternationalguaranteestamp,locatedinthe

guaranteebookletyoureceivedwithyourLouisVuittonTambourConnectedandsignedanddatedas

Connected,LouisVuittonisnotresponsibleforlossordamageduringshipping.

LouisVuittonwill,uponinspectingyourLouisVuittonTambourConnectedandconfirmingthatthis

USLimitedWarrantyapplies,atnocharge,repairorreplaceyourLouisVuittonTambourConnected.

LouisVuittonmayusefunctionallyequivalent,reconditioned,refurbished,pre‐ownedornew

productsinconnectionwiththerepair.Nodata,softwareorapplicationswillbereinstalledor
