PART I: SAFETY & LEGAL INFORMATION
Caution! Before you begin to use the Louis Vuitton Tambour Connected, please read the following
instructions which contain important safety and regulatory information. Please keep these
instructions in a safe place so that you can refer to them when needed.
I. SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
A‐ Main characteristics of your Louis Vuitton Tambour Connected
The Louis Vuitton Tambour Connected is a luxury watch which includes Wi‐Fi, Bluetooth functions
and near field communications (NFC) functions. It is not intended to be used as a medical device nor
a fitness tracker.
The Louis Vuitton Tambour Connected requires a phone running Android 4.3+ or iOS 8.2+. Supported
features may vary between platforms. Visit g.co/wearcheck on your phone or a computer to see if it
is compatible.
The Louis Vuitton Tambour Connected requires the use of the charging accessories provided with it.
The accessories provided with your Louis Vuitton Tambour Connected contain a micro USB cable, a
charging cradle and a wall plug. You will find below further details on electrical safety
recommendations concerning the use of the charging accessories.
You can disable the watch Bluetooth, Wi‐Fi, NFC functions by following the stages below:
If your screen is dim, touch the screen to wake up the watch;

1‐ Using the Louis Vuitton Tambour Connected and its accessories safely
a‐ Keeping your Louis Vuitton Tambour Connected safe
(i) General
Do not use or store the Louis Vuitton Tambour Connected in dusty, dirty areas as its components
may be damaged.
Do not store the Louis Vuitton Tambour Connected in warm areas or under direct sunlight. High
temperatures can shorten the life of electronic devices, damage batteries, cause them to become
inoperative and warp or melt certain plastics.

Do not store the Louis Vuitton Tambour Connected in cold areas. When the Louis Vuitton Tambour
Connected afterwards warms up to its normal temperature, moisture can form inside the Louis
Vuitton Tambour Connected, which may damage the electronic circuits.
Do not attempt to open the Louis Vuitton Tambour Connected’s casing. Non‐expert handling of the
Louis Vuitton Tambour Connected may cause damage to your Louis Vuitton Tambour Connected and
may void the guarantee and/or US Limited Warranty.
Do not drop or knock the Louis Vuitton Tambour Connected.
Do not place heavy objects on it.
Do not use sharp objects on the screen.
Do not use excessive force on the screen. Rough handling may damage the internal circuits.
Do not use harsh chemicals, cleaning solvents or strong detergents to clean the Louis Vuitton
Tambour Connected.
While listening to your device with headphones, make sure you have set the volume to a reasonable
level in order to avoid damage to your ears.
If the Louis Vuitton Tambour Connected or any of its accessories are not working properly, take them
to your nearest Louis Vuitton store. The personnel there will assist you, and if necessary and possible,
arrange for the Louis Vuitton Tambour Connected to be repaired.
In addition to the above, please refer to your instructions and guarantee manual for information on
cables, charging cradle, wall plugs and battery electrical safety.
(ii) Exposure to liquid
The Louis Vuitton Tambour Connected is 30‐meter waterproof.
Try to minimize exposing the Louis Vuitton Tambour Connected to these substances: soap, detergent,
acids or acidic foods, and any liquids other than fresh water, such as salt water, soapy water, pool
water, perfume, insect repellent, lotions, sunscreen, oil, adhesive remover, hair dye, or solvents.
If your Louis Vuitton Tambour Connected has a leather bracelet, be aware that leather bands are not
water resistant.
The following may affect the water resistance of the Louis Vuitton Tambour Connected and should
be avoided:
• Dropping the Louis Vuitton Tambour Connected or subjecting it to impacts.
• Exposing the Louis Vuitton Tambour Connected to pressurized water or high velocity water, for
example, water skiing, wake boarding, surfing, jet skiing, and so on.
• Wearing the Louis Vuitton Tambour Connected in a hot or humid environment, such as a sauna or

(iii) Using buttons, Digital Crown, connectors, and ports
Never apply excessive pressure to a button on the Louis Vuitton Tambour Connected, or force a
charging connector into a port, because this may cause damage that is not covered under the
guarantee and/or US Limited Warranty. If the connector and port do not join with reasonable ease,
they probably do not match. Check for obstructions and make sure that the connector matches the
port and that you have positioned the connector correctly in relation to the port.
Certain usage patterns can contribute to the fraying or breaking of cables. The cable attached to a
charging unit, like any other metal wire or cable, is subject to becoming weak or brittle if repeatedly
bent in the same spot. Aim for gentle curves instead of angles in the cable. Regularly inspect the
cable and connector for any kinks, breaks, bends, or other damage. Should you find any such damage,
discontinue use of the cable.
Discoloration of the accessories (cable, plugs) after regular use is normal. Dirt, debris, and exposure
to moisture may cause discoloration. If your accessories become warm during use or if the Louis
Vuitton Tambour Connected does not charge or sync, disconnect the cable from the power adapter
and clean the accessories with a nonabrasive, dry, lint‐free cloth. Do not use liquids or cleaning
products when cleaning the accessories.
Discoloration of the charging surface of the Louis Vuitton Tambour Connected charging accessories
may occur after regular use. Cleaning the charging surface may reduce, or prevent, such discoloration,
and will help to prevent damage to your charger and the Louis Vuitton Tambour Connected. To clean
the charging surface, disconnect the charger from both the Louis Vuitton Tambour Connected and
the power adapter and wipe with a damp, nonabrasive cloth. Dry with a nonabrasive, lint‐free cloth
before resuming charging. Do not use cleaning products when cleaning the charging surface.
b‐ Protection of the user’s health
As a general recommendation, the Louis Vuitton Tambour Connected is not intended for use where
the failure of the device could lead to death, personal injury, or severe environmental damage.

The Louis Vuitton Tambour Connected and the included Louis Vuitton Tambour Connected apps are
not medical devices. They are not designed or intended for use in the diagnosis of disease or other
conditions, or in the cure, mitigation, treatment, or prevention of disease.
Before starting or modifying any exercise program using the Louis Vuitton Tambour Connected,
consult your physician. Be careful and attentive while exercising. Stop exercising immediately if you
feel pain, or feel faint, dizzy, exhausted, or short of breath. By exercising, you assume all associated
inherent risks including any injury that may result from such activity. If you have any medical
condition that you believe could be affected by the Louis Vuitton Tambour Connected (for example,
seizures, blackouts, eyestrain, or headaches), consult with your physician prior to using the Louis
Vuitton Tambour Connected.

Some people may experience reactions to certain materials used in jewelry, watches, and other
wearable items that are in prolonged contact with their skin. This can be due to allergies,
environmental factors, extended exposure to irritants like soap, sweat, or other causes. You may be
more likely to experience irritation from any wearable device if you have allergies or other
sensitivities. If you have known skin sensitivities, please take special care when wearing the Louis
Vuitton Tambour Connected. You may be more likely to experience irritation from the Louis Vuitton
Tambour Connected if you wear it too tightly.
Remove the Louis Vuitton Tambour Connected periodically to allow your skin to breathe. Keeping the
Louis Vuitton Tambour Connected bands clean and dry will reduce the possibility of skin irritation. If
you experience redness, swelling, itchiness, or any other irritation or discomfort on your skin around,
or beneath, your Louis Vuitton Tambour Connected, please remove the Louis Vuitton Tambour

c‐ Integrity of people around
(i) Protection of children
Keep the Louis Vuitton Tambour Connected and its accessories out of the reach of children. In
particular, some Louis Vuitton Tambour Connected bands may present a choking hazard to small
children. Keep these bands away from small children.
(ii) Walking and driving safely
Do not use your Louis Vuitton Tambour Connected while driving.
The Louis Vuitton Tambour Connected generates, uses, and can radiate radio frequency signals.
Radio frequency signals might affect improperly installed or inadequately shielded electronic systems
in motor vehicles. Check with the manufacturer or its representative regarding your vehicle. If any
equipment has been added to your vehicle, you should also consult the manufacturer of that

2‐ Electrical Safety
a‐ Accessories
Use only those accessories approved by Louis Vuitton. Using any accessories not approved by Louis
Vuitton for use with your Louis Vuitton Tambour Connected might invalidate any approval or
guarantee and/or US Limited Warranty applicable to your device and or might result in the Louis
Vuitton Tambour Connected becoming inoperative and/or dangerous.

b‐ Charging accessories
To charge the Louis Vuitton Tambour Connected, use only approved charging accessories.
Your Louis Vuitton Tambour Connected is provided with the following charging accessories: micro
USB cable, charging cradle and wall plug. Use only approved charging accessories.
When a charger is not in use, disconnect it from the power source.
It is important to keep the Louis Vuitton Tambour Connected and the accessories provided therewith
in a well‐ventilated area when charging.
Use the charging accessories provided with the Louis Vuitton Tambour Connected or any other
Louis Vuitton approved charging accessories only from the type of power source indicated on the
label. Before you use any power supply, verify that the mains (AC) voltage is in accordance with the
voltage printed on the power supply.
Do not overload power outlet, extension cords or convenience receptacles because this might result
in a risk of fire or electric shock. To reduce the risk of damage to the cord or the wall charger, pull the
wall charger rather than the cord when you disconnect the charging accessory from the power outlet
or power source.
Using damaged Louis Vuitton Tambour Connected charging accessories, or charging when moisture is
present, can cause fire, electric shock, injury, or damage to the user or the Louis Vuitton Tambour
Connected or other property. Be sure the Louis Vuitton Tambour Connected and the charging
accessories are dry before charging. When you use the charging accessories to charge the Louis
Vuitton Tambour Connected, make sure that the USB plug is fully inserted into the adapter before
you plug the adapter into a power outlet. Avoid charging the Louis Vuitton Tambour Connected in
direct sunlight. Do not wear the Louis Vuitton Tambour Connected while it is charging.
Avoid prolonged skin contact with the connector when the cable is plugged into a power source
because it may cause discomfort or injury. Sleeping or sitting on the connector should be avoided.
In addition to the above:
• Do not expose the charger to water while in use; this may cause the charger and the Louis Vuitton
Tambour Connected to fail.
• Carefully insert the USB cable into the charger base, forcing the cable in the wrong direction will
damage the charger.
• It is recommended to charge the Louis Vuitton Tambour Connected in a cool place, in order to
prevent overheating of the Louis Vuitton Tambour Connected.
• It is not recommended to charge the watch in a place where there is direct sunlight on the Louis
Vuitton Tambour Connected, as this may cause overheating.
• When the Louis Vuitton Tambour Connected is placed on the charger, and the charger is plugged
into a wall, a charging screen will be displayed on the face of the Louis Vuitton Tambour Connected,
indicating the percentage of battery already charged.
• It is recommended to remove the Louis Vuitton Tambour Connected from the charger once it is
fully‐charged.

• If the Louis Vuitton Tambour Connected fails to charge, check that the wall plug is fully inserted
into the wall outlet, the USB cable is firmly attached to the charger, and the watch is properly placed
on the charger.
• If the Louis Vuitton Tambour Connected still does not charge, make sure that the watch is
accurately oriented on the charger and make sure the back of the Louis Vuitton Tambour Connected
is clean.
• The charger contains a small magnet to ensure proper alignment and attachment of the Louis
Vuitton Tambour Connected to the charger. Please keep the charger away from metal.
c‐ Battery safety
Your Louis Vuitton Tambour Connected contains a built‐in battery that is not replaceable. Do not
attempt to replace your product’s battery (for information on the recycling of the battery, please
refer to section C‐2, below).
In any event:
• Do not expose the battery to fire or other external heat sources, such as hot plates, stove tops,
space heaters or ovens, as this could cause fire or explosion.
• Do not dispose of batteries in a fire.
• Never use any charger or battery that is damaged in any way. Use the battery only for intended
purposes. Do not short‐circuit the battery.
• Do not leave the battery in hot or cold places.
3‐ Interaction with the environment
a‐ Interference with electronic equipment and magnetic characteristics
Your Louis Vuitton Tambour Connected, as any radio‐transmitting equipment, may interfere with
other electronic devices.
Switch off your device on airplanes or any place where it is requested (hospitals, gas station, etc.).
In any case, make sure you are using your device where it is authorized for use and in an authorized
manner.
In particular, your Louis Vuitton Tambour Connected may interfere with pacemakers, defibrillators,
or other medical devices. Maintain a safe distance of separation between your medical device and
the Louis Vuitton Tambour Connected and accessories. Consult your physician and medical device
manufacturer for information specific to your medical device. Stop using the Louis Vuitton Tambour
Connected and its accessories if you suspect they are interfering with your pacemaker, defibrillator,
or any other medical device.
Keep key cards and credit cards away from the Louis Vuitton Tambour Connected and its accessories.

b‐ Dangerous areas
Charging or using the Louis Vuitton Tambour Connected in any area with a potentially explosive
atmosphere, such as in areas where the air contains high levels of flammable chemicals, vapors, or
particles (such as grain, dust, or metal powders), may be hazardous. Obey all signs and instructions.
c‐ Operating and storage temperatures
The normal operating temperature of the Louis Vuitton Tambour Connected is from 0 to 40° C (32 to
104° F).
The Louis Vuitton Tambour Connected can be damaged and battery life shortened if stored or
operated outside of these temperature ranges. Avoid exposing the Louis Vuitton Tambour Connected
to dramatic changes in temperature or humidity. If the interior temperature of the Louis Vuitton
Tambour Connected exceeds normal operating temperatures (for example, in a hot car or in direct
sunlight for extended periods of time), you may experience the following as it attempts to regulate
its temperature:
• Charging may slow or stop;
• The display may dim;
• Some data transfer may be paused or delayed.

temperature standards and limits. However, even within these limits, sustained contact with warm

The following things are not recommended in the care of your Louis Vuitton Tambour Connected:
• Do not clean the Louis Vuitton Tambour Connected while it is charging.
• Do not dry the Louis Vuitton Tambour Connected or the bands using any external heat source (for
example, a hair dryer).
• Do not use cleaning products or compressed air when cleaning your Louis Vuitton Tambour
Connected.
2‐ Built‐in battery precautions and information
• Your Louis Vuitton Tambour Connected features a built‐in rechargeable battery, which is not
replaceable or removable by the user.
• Do not attempt to replace or remove your Louis Vuitton Tambour Connected’s battery by yourself.
• Tampering with your product, or attempting to open it, will void the guarantee and/or US Limited
Warranty and may result in a safety hazard.

3‐ Electronic or electric equipment and battery disposal
Your Louis Vuitton Tambour Connected, its accessories and its battery contain hazardous substances.
They must not be disposed of as unsorted household waste.
They are subject to specific local regulations. In particular, as the Louis Vuitton Tambour Connected
and its accessories were placed on the market after 13 August 2005, they are subject, in the
European Union, to Directive 2012/19/EU on waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE); in
addition, the battery contained in your Louis Vuitton Tambour Connected is subject to Directive

The e‐label information is pre‐programmed by the grantee. The user cannot modify the e‐label
information.

rather than this INTERNATIONAL LIMITED GUARANTEE.
Your Louis Vuitton Tambour Connected has been manufactured in collaboration with top partners
Google and Compal/Qualcomm.
Your Louis Vuitton Tambour Connected is covered by a limited international guarantee against any
manufacturing defect for a period of two years from the date of purchase, and its accessories for a
period of one year from the date of purchase, under the conditions below.
Accessories include notably charging accessories (charging puck, micro USB cable, wall plug, key
holders). Limited conditions apply to both Louis Vuitton Tambour Connected and accessories. All
accessories are not water resistant.
What is covered?
Under this limited two‐year guarantee, Louis Vuitton undertakes to repair, free of charge, any
problem with the functions of the Louis Vuitton Tambour Connected that result from manufacturing
defect. This guarantee is only honored in the Louis Vuitton stores.
The two‐year guarantee from date of purchase of your Louis Vuitton Tambour Connected and one‐
year warranty for accessories from date of purchase of Your Louis Vuitton Tambour Connected
covers any function defect arising during normal use of the device in accordance with the Louis
Vuitton Tambour Connected’s technical specifications, user manuals. This could be, for instance
power on/off issue, charging issue, display malfunction, impossibility to use normally applications or
watch functions due to your Louis Vuitton Tambour Connected defect. This guarantee can be
enforced in the countries where the Louis Vuitton Tambour Connected is distributed. Any non‐
arguable quality defects on the cosmetics or product mechanical functions that are obviously coming
from a component quality problem or Louis Vuitton Tambour Connected mis‐assembly by Louis
Vuitton are covered.
In addition, certain limiting conditions do apply and for this reason it is essential that you read the
following paragraphs:
What are the limiting conditions of this guarantee?
To benefit from this limited guarantee the following conditions must be met:
• The international guarantee stamp, located in the guarantee booklet you received with your Louis
Vuitton Tambour Connected, must be enclosed with your Louis Vuitton Tambour Connected when
returned to a Louis Vuitton store for repair and must be signed and dated at the time of purchase;
• Louis Vuitton will not honour the guarantee for your Louis Vuitton Tambour Connected sold
without a valid guarantee stamp properly filled out and signed by a Louis Vuitton store;
• The serial number engraved on the case is perfectly legible and no part of the original case back or
original serial number has been removed, modified, falsified, altered, replaced, erased, defaced or
made illegible.

Failure to abide by any of the above conditions renders all rights resulting from the Louis Vuitton
Tambour Connected international guarantee null and void.
What is not covered
Damage resulting from service provided anywhere other than at an official Louis Vuitton Customer
Service Center is not covered and shall void the guarantee. The limited guarantee also does not cover
bracelets, crystals and batteries, or any damage to the case or hardware due to moisture that might
have entered your Louis Vuitton Tambour Connected as a result of improper handling.
More generally, it does not apply if there has been improper or inadequate use of your Louis Vuitton
Tambour Connected:
• product has been opened by the user or by unauthorized person;
• product has been connected to non‐recommended accessories such as other battery type or
charger;
• product has been voluntarily degraded or used out of the recommended rules for product start‐up
or usage such as wrong plug‐in or product has been exposed to extra voltage or electric discharges,
important shocks, drop or abnormal mechanical stress leading to major degradation of product
housing, electronic components;
• product has been abnormally exposed to water or other chemical substances (presence of
corrosion, humidity);
• product has been exposed to high temperature (greater than 40° C/104° F) or other extreme
environmental conditions;
• an attempt to modify product software has been performed.
If one or the above mentioned items are observed, then the Louis Vuitton Tambour Connected will
not be covered by the international guarantee. The normal wear and aging of your Louis Vuitton
Tambour Connected due to normal usage is not covered by guarantee. This is especially the case for:
• any material surface degradation due to normal usage of product, scratches on case, rubber, crystal,
dust intrusion or degraded surfaces, change of colour of parts due to exposition to solar radiation or
contact with any chemical substance;
• degradation of autonomy performance due to battery normal aging.
DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTY FOR SOFTWARE
For purposes of this Disclaimer of Warranty for Software (this “Disclaimer”), “Software” means any
software application (and all associated content and functionality) provided by LV or any third party
that may be accessed using or that may otherwise interoperate with the Louis Vuitton Tambour
Connected.
Third‐Party Software. "Third‐Party Software" refers to Software that has been developed by, or is
provided to you for use with the Louis Vuitton Tambour Connected by, any person other than LV. All

REFLECT A REASONABLE AND FAIR ALLOCATION OF RISK BETWEEN YOU AND LV, AND THAT THE
WARRANTY DISCLAIMERS AND THE LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY SET FORTH HEREIN FORM AN
ESSENTIAL BASIS OF THE BARGAIN BETWEEN YOU AND LV. LV WOULD NOT BE ABLE TO PROVIDE LV

GENERAL CONDITIONS AND LIMITATIONS:
This guarantee gives you specific legal rights and you may also have other rights under local laws
which vary from country to country. Louis Vuitton and its stores shall have sole discretion to decide
to repair or replace any Louis Vuitton timepiece under this limited international guarantee. To the
extent permitted by the local law, Louis Vuitton shall not be liable for any incidental, special, punitive
or consequential damages. This limited guarantee may be transferred with the Louis Vuitton
Tambour Connected.
We recommend that you bring your Louis Vuitton Tambour Connected to the nearest Louis Vuitton
store. This list of Louis Vuitton stores worldwide can be found at the end of this booklet. This
guarantee does not affect your legal rights as a consumer. Please check that this booklet contains a
stamp dated and signed – otherwise you will not be covered by the limited guarantee services
outlined above.
Additionally, in order to be covered by this international guarantee, the following administrative
conditions shall be met when returning the product:
To the extent permitted by local legislations, the product shall be returned with its original battery
and charger to a Louis Vuitton store.
RECOMMENDATIONS AND LIMITED GUARANTEE SPECIFIC TO THE MAINLAND CHINA MARKET.
Your Louis Vuitton Tambour Connected come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the
Consumer Protection Law: Consumers or other victims suffering personal injuries or property
damage resulting from product defects may demand compensations either from the seller or from
the manufacturer.
In addition:
• If any quality defects occur to a product within seven days after purchase, the consumer may
choose to return the product, or request seller to replace or repair the product at consumer’s
discretion. Where the consumer chooses to return the product with quality defect, the seller
should refund the purchase price.
• If any quality defect occurs within 15 days after the purchase, the consumer may request the
seller to replace or repair the products at his/her discretion. Where the consumer chooses to
replace the product with quality defects, the seller should replace the product with the same type
and specifications free of charge.
• Within one year after the purchase, if the product is not fit for its intended use after two rounds
of repair, after consumer presents relevant repair records, the seller shall replace the products
with a product of the same type and specifications free of charge, or refund purchase price after
deduction of any depreciation cost.

SPECIFIC ADDITIONAL TERMS OF GUARANTEES APPLICABLE TO FRANCE
This International Guarantee is in addition to other rights and remedies available to you under law,
which may not be excluded. With respect to the above mentioned limited international guarantee,
“when the buyer asks the seller to carry out repairs covered by his commercial guarantee upon the
acquisition and the reparation of a movable asset, the period of any resultant shutdown of seven days
or longer shall be added to the unexpired term of the guarantee. The said period shall run from the
time when the buyer requests assistance or the time when the product in question is taken out of
service pending repair, should this be subsequent to the request for assistance” (article L211‐16 of the
French Consumer Code).
Notwithstanding anything to the contrary in this guarantee, in addition to the limited international
guarantee, Louis Vuitton is liable for the French legal (i) guarantee of conformity described in articles
L211‐4 to L211‐13 of the French Consumer Code, and (ii) guarantee against hidden defects in the
conditions set out in articles 1641 to 1648 and 2232 of the French Civil Code.
With respect to the guarantee against hidden defect, according to article 1641 of the French Civil
Code “the seller is bound to a guarantee against hidden defects in the thing sold that render it unfit
for its intended use, or that so impair its use that the buyer would not have bought it, or would only
have given a lesser price for it if he had known of the defects”, and to the first paragraph of article
1648 of the same Code “an action resulting from redhibitory defects must be brought by the buyer
within two years from the discovery of the defect”. With respect to the guarantee of conformity,
according to articles L211‐4 and L211‐5 of the French Consumer Code “the seller is required to deliver
a product which conforms to the contract and is held liable for any lack of conformity which exists
upon delivery. He is also held liable for any lack of conformity caused by the packaging or the
assembly instructions, or the installation if he assumed responsibility therefor or had it carried out
under his responsibility” and “to conform to the contract, the product must:
1. Be suitable for the purpose usually associated with such a product and, if applicable: ‐ correspond
to the description given by the seller and have the features that the seller presented to the buyer in
the form of a sample or model; ‐ have the features that a buyer might reasonably expect to have
considering the public statements made by the seller, the producer or his representative, including
advertising and labeling;
2. Or have the features defined by mutual agreement between the parties or be suitable for any
special requirement of the buyer which was made known to the seller and which the latter agreed to”.
In addition, an “action resulting from a lack of conformity lapses two years after delivery of the
product” (article L211‐12 of the French Consumer Code).
SPECIFIC ADDITIONAL TERMS OF GUARANTEES APPLICABLE TO ITALY
In addition to this limited international guarantee, Louis Vuitton is liable for the Italian legal
guarantee of conformity set out in Articles 128ff of the Italian Consumer Code.

SPECIFIC ADDITIONAL TERMS OF GUARANTEES APPLICABLE TO PORTUGAL
To benefit from the rights granted by this two‐year guarantee, you must inform Louis Vuitton
Customer Service Center of the lack of conformity of the Watch within a period of two months from
the date on which you detected such lack of conformity. Any repair or replacement should be
completed within a period of thirty days, without any significant inconvenience to you.
The above manufacturer’s guarantee: (i) is independent of any guarantee that may be provided by
the seller, for which he carries sole responsibility; (ii) does not affect your statutory rights towards
the seller, the manufacturer or the distributor.
SPECIFIC ADDITIONAL TERMS OF GUARANTEES APPLICABLE TO RUSSIA
This International Guarantee is in addition to other rights and remedies available to you under the
law, which may not be excluded. In addition to your rights above, Louis Vuitton goods come with a
guarantee that cannot be excluded under the Russian Law ‘On the Protection of Consumers’ Rights”.
In particular:
1. If your Louis Vuitton goods are defective, you are entitled to a replacement (with the same Louis
Vuitton goods or similar goods of another manufacturer with the purchase price being recalculated)
or a refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or
damage. Further, the customer is also entitled to have the goods repaired if the goods have not
suffered a major failure.
2. The absence of a properly completed guarantee card does not release Louis Vuitton from its
guarantee obligations.
3. The useful life of the watch is two years.
4. The representative of the manufacturer in Russia, authorised to address consumer claims is your
nearest Louis Vuitton store in Russia.
SPECIFIC ADDITIONAL TERMS OF GUARANTEES APPLICABLE TO TURKEY
This International Guarantee is in addition to other rights and remedies available to you under local
law, which may not be excluded. Under Turkish laws, the guarantee period is 2 years beginning as of
the delivery date of the goods and the expected life span of the product is 2 years. The fullest extent
of the goods including all parts is within the scope of guarantee. In case the good is evaluated as
defective, the consumer can use one of the rights granted in Article 11 of the Law Regarding
Protection of Consumers numbered 6502,
• cancellation of the contract,
• discount in the sales price in proportion to the defect,
• free‐of‐charge repair,
• replacement of the defective good with a new one.

The seller is liable to perform such request preferred by the consumer. If free‐of‐charge repair or
replacement of the defective good leads to disproportionate difficulties for the seller, the consumer
can cancel the agreement or request a discount in the sales price in proportion to the defect. In
determining what is disproportionate, the value of the good free from the defects, severity of the
defect and whether or not the exercise of other optional rights would constitute a problem for the
consumer shall be taken into account. In case the right of replacement of the goods with a new one
is chosen, it is required to satisfy such request within thirty business days at most as from directing it
to the seller, manufacturer or the importer. Otherwise, the consumer is free to use other optional
rights.
In case the consumer chooses the right of free of charge repair, the seller is liable to repair or to have
repaired the product without demanding the cost of labor, the price of replaced parts or any other
costs under whatsoever name. You may use the right of free of charge repair or replacement of the
good with a new one against the manufacturer or importer as well. The seller, manufacturer and the
importer are severally responsible for performing such rights within this paragraph.
The manufacturer or the importer shall not be held liable where they can prove that the defect
occurred after they released the good into the market. In case the right of free of charge repair is
used by the consumer, you can request for refund of the purchase price, deduction from the
purchase price in the rate of the defect or ,if possible, replacement of the good with a new one from
the seller in the events that;
• the product is broken down again within the guarantee period,
• maximum period for the repair is exceeded,
• it is determined that repair of the product is not possible, through a report issued by authorized
technical station, seller, manufacturer or importer. The seller cannot reject the request of the
consumer. If such claim is not satisfied, the seller, manufacturer and the importer are severally
responsible.
The repair period of the goods is maximum 20 business days. Otherwise, you are free to use other
granted optional rights. This period begins as of the notification date of the fault to the authorized
service station or the seller within the guarantee period, and the delivery date of the good to the
authorized service station without the guarantee period. In case the fault is not repaired within 10
business day, the seller or the importer shall be liable to assign another good having similar features
for the use of the consumer until the repair is finished. In case the good is broken down within the
guarantee period, the period in repair shall be added to guarantee period.
In case you choose the rights of cancellation of the contract or discount in the sales price in
proportion to the defect, all paid amount or the discounted amount in the sales price shall be
refunded to you immediately.
All costs generated from the use of optional rights shall be fulfilled by the party performing such
rights of the consumer. You may also request for the compensation in accordance with the provisions
of the Turkish Code of Obligations dated January 11, 2011 and numbered 6098 together with one of
these optional rights.
The faults arising from the improper use of the goods against the facts indicated in guidelines for use
are out of the guarantee scope.

You may apply to Consumer Board or Consumer Court where the residential place is located or the
consumer transaction is performed for the disagreements to be arisen for use of rights in guarantee.
In case this Guarantee Certificate is not given by the seller, the consumer may apply to the Ministry
of Customs and Trade General Directorate of Consumer Protection and Market Surveillance.

This International Guarantee is in addition to other rights and remedies available to you under law,
which may not be excluded. If your Louis Vuitton goods are defective, you are entitled to a
replacement or refund for a major failure and for compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable
loss or damage. In United Arab Emirates, please go to your nearest Louis Vuitton store in Dubai UAE
for any guarantee inquiries.
SPECIFIC ADDITIONAL TERMS OF GUARANTEES APPLICABLE TO AUSTRALIA AND NEW ZEALAND
This International Guarantee is in addition to other rights and remedies available to you under law,
which may not be excluded. In addition to your rights above, Louis Vuitton goods come with
guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law or under New Zealand Law.
If your Louis Vuitton goods are defective, you are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major
failure or may be entitled to recover costs for an amount for the reduction in the product’s value and
in some cases compensation for loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or
replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major
failure. In Australia, please go to your nearest Louis Vuitton store in Australia for any guarantee
inquiries.

UNITED STATES LIMITED WARRANTY
What is covered?
This United States Limited Warranty (“US Limited Warranty”) applies to the Louis Vuitton Tambour
Connected sold within the United States and its territories at Louis Vuitton stores. Under this US
Limited Warranty, Louis Vuitton agrees to repair, free of charge, any problem with the functions of
your Louis Vuitton Tambour Connected that result from defects in materials and workmanship and
arise within the two‐year period commencing on the date of purchase.
What is not covered?
This US Limited Warranty does not apply to damage resulting from service provided anywhere other
than at a Louis Vuitton Store, which shall void this US Limited Warranty. This US Limited Warranty
does not cover any software, bracelets, crystals and batteries, or any damage to the case or
hardware due to moisture that might have entered the Louis Vuitton Tambour Connected as a result
of improper handling. More generally, it does not apply if there has been improper or inadequate use
of the Louis Vuitton Tambour Connected such as where:
• the product has been dismantled by the user or by unauthorized person;
• the product has been connected to non‐recommended accessories such as other battery type or
charger;
• the product has been voluntarily degraded or used out of the recommended rules for product
start‐up or usage such as wrong plug‐in;
• the product has been exposed to extra voltage or electric discharges, important shocks, drop or
abnormal mechanical stress leading to major degradation of product housing, electronic components;
• the product has been abnormally exposed to water or other chemical substances (presence of
corrosion, humidity);
• the product has been damaged by accident, abuse, misuse, fire, earthquake or other external cause;
• the product has been stolen (or Louis Vuitton reasonably believes the product has been stolen
based upon information provided by law enforcement authorities);
• you are unable to deactivate passcode‐enabled or other security measures designed to prevent
unauthorized access;
• the product has been exposed to high temperature (greater than 60° C/ 140° F) or other extreme
environmental conditions;
• the product has been damaged or has failed due to any communication service you subscribe to; or
• an attempt to modify product software has been performed or where the serial numbers, date tags
or original case back have been removed, modified, falsified, altered, replaced, erased, defaced or
made illegible.
If one or the above mentioned items are observed upon inspection by Louis Vuitton, then the Louis
Vuitton Tambour Connected will not be covered by this US Limited Warranty.

In addition, this US Limited Warranty will not apply to normal wear and tear, such as the wear and
aging of your Louis Vuitton Tambour Connected due to normal usage, including any material surface
degradation due to the normal usage of the product, scratches on the case, rubber, glass, dust
intrusion or degraded surfaces, change of color of parts due to exposition to solar radiation or
contact with any chemical substance, or to degradation of autonomy performance due to battery
normal aging after one year.
This US Limited Warranty does not apply to software or accessories (whether provided by Louis
Vuitton or by a third party).
Who is covered?
This US Limited Warranty extends to the first consumer purchaser and may be transferred with your
Louis Vuitton Tambour Connected. To enforce this US Limited Warranty, the current owner of the
Louis Vuitton Tambour Connected must present the international guarantee stamp, located in the
guarantee booklet you received with your Louis Vuitton Tambour Connected and signed and dated as
of the date of purchase by a Louis Vuitton store (or, in the event this US Limited Warranty is enforced
by mail, by including a color photocopy of such international guarantee card in such mailing). PLEASE
CHECK THAT THIS BOOKLET CONTAINS AN INTERNATIONAL GUARANTEE CARD –LOUIS VUITTON WILL
NOT HONOR THIS US LIMITED WARRANTY FOR WATCHES SOLD WITHOUT A VALID INTERNATIONAL
GUARANTEE CARD PROPERLY FILLED OUT AND SIGNED BY A LOUIS VUITTON STORE.
How do you obtain warranty service?
Please access and review the user guide and other help services provided with your Louis Vuitton
Tambour Connected prior to seeking warranty service. If your Louis Vuitton Tambour Connected is
still not functioning properly and you believe that your Louis Vuitton Tambour Connected contains a
defect subject to this US Limited Warranty, we recommend that you take your Louis Vuitton
Tambour Connected (with its original battery and charger and the original international guarantee
stamp) to your nearest Louis Vuitton store or send your Louis Vuitton Tambour Connected (with its
original battery and charger and a color photocopy of the original international guarantee stamp) by
registered mail, carefully wrapped to avoid damage, to a Louis Vuitton store. This US Limited
Warranty will only be honored in Louis Vuitton stores. listed in the last section of this document or by
mail according to the instructions set forth herein. If you choose to mail your Louis Vuitton Tambour
Connected, Louis Vuitton is not responsible for loss or damage during shipping.
Louis Vuitton will, upon inspecting your Louis Vuitton Tambour Connected and confirming that this
US Limited Warranty applies, at no charge, repair or replace your Louis Vuitton Tambour Connected.
Louis Vuitton may use functionally equivalent, reconditioned, refurbished, pre‐owned or new
products in connection with the repair. No data, software or applications will be reinstalled or
installed on any replacement device. To avoid losing such data, software and applications, please
back‐up your device prior to requesting service.
Are there any other limitations or exclusions that apply to this US Limited Warranty?
BY USING YOUR LOUIS VUITTON TAMBOUR CONNECTED YOU ARE AGREEING TO BE BOUND BY THE
TERMS OF THIS US LIMITED WARRANTY. THIS WARRANTY GIVES YOU SPECIFIC LEGAL RIGHTS AND
YOU MAY ALSO HAVE OTHER RIGHTS WHICH VARY FROM STATE TO STATE. OTHER THAN AS

Third‐Party Software. "Third‐Party Software" refers to Software that has been developed by, or is

PARTY RELATING TO ANY CHARGES IMPOSED BY YOUR DEVICE CARRIER RELATING TO YOUR USE OF

THESE LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY ALSO APPLY WITH RESPECT TO DAMAGES INCURRED BY YOU BY
REASON OF ANY THIRD PARTIES OR OTHERWISE BY THIRD PARTIES OTHER THAN LV.
