To use a different cord, use only a power source and connection compatible with this monitor. CAUTION: To protect your monitor, as well as your computer, connect all power cords for your computer and its peripheral devices (such as a monitor, printer, or scanner) to a surge protection device such as a power strip with surge protection or uninterruptible power supply (UPS). Not all power strips provide surge protection; the power strips must be specifically labeled as having this ability. Use a power strip whose manufacturer offers a damage replacement policy, so you can replace your equipment if surge protection fails. CAUTION: A certified power supply cord has to be used with this equipment. The relevant national installation and/or equipment regulations shall be considered. A certified power supply cord not lighter than ordinary polyvinyl chloride flexible cord according to IEC 60227 (designation H05VV-F 3G 0.75mm² or H05VVH2-F2 3G 0.75mm²) shall be used. Alternative a flexible cord be of synthetic rubber. CAUTION: To prevent the monitor sliding out of the cover always carry as shown below. Safety Precautions  To prevent electric shock, do not remove enclosure, no user-serviceable parts inside. Maintenance Guidelines To enhance the performance and extend the life of your monitor:  Do not open your monitor cabinet or attempt to service this product yourself. If your monitor is not operating properly or has been dropped or damaged, contact your Lenovo authorized dealer, reseller, or service provider.  Adjust only those controls that are described in the operating instructions.  Turn your monitor off when not in use. You can substantially increase the life expectancy of the monitor by using a screen saver program and turning off the monitor when not in use.  Keep your monitor in a well-ventilated area, away from excessive light, heat, or moisture.  Slots and openings in the cabinet are provided for ventilation. These openings must not be blocked or covered. Never push objects of any kind into cabinet slots or other openings.  Unplug the monitor from the power outlet before cleaning. Do not use liquid cleaners or aerosol cleaners.  Do not drop the monitor or place it on an unstable surface.  When removing the monitor base, you must lay the monitor face down on a soft area to prevent it from getting scratched, defaced, or broken. The monitor is intended to be powered by the PC/Laptop USB3.0 output, and the PC/Laptop will be IEC60950-1 approved, where the USB3.0 outputs comply with LPS requirement. © Copyright Lenovo 2013. iv Cleaning the Monitor The monitor is a high-quality optical device that requires special care when cleaning. To clean the monitor, follow these steps: 1. Turn off the computer and the monitor. 2. Unplug your monitor from the power outlet before cleaning. CAUTION: Do not use benzene, thinner, ammonia, or any volatile substance to clean the monitor screen or cabinet. These chemicals may damage the monitor. Do not use liquid or aerosol cleaners. Never user water to clean an LCD screen. 3. Wipe the screen with a dry, soft, clean cloth. If the screen requires additional cleaning, use an antistatic screen cleaner. 4. Dust the monitor housing. Use a damp cloth to clean the cabinet. If the cabinet requires additional cleaning, use a clean cloth dampened with isopropyl alcohol. 5. Plug in the monitor. 6. For a quick overview, please see the Setup Poster that was shipped with your monitor. After the completion of the progress bar, the home page will display on screen. Then the monitor is ready to be connected by WiFi. b) Hold the power button for 3 seconds to power off the monitor when the monitor is powered on, but not be connected. c) Hold the power button for 5 seconds to active LT1423pwCA Control panel Options page as below page, and the desired action can be selected. d) If the power button is held for 10 seconds the LT1423pwCA will shut down even when connected to the host system. 2. Power on/off the LCD panel’s backlight by clicking the power button when the monitor is connected. Chapter 1. Getting started 1-3 3. Your monitor has OSD control on the top of which is used to adjust the display. With USB cable connection: Menu Key: 1. To display the OSD menu on the screen. 2. To select the OSD sub-Menu. Minus Key: 1. Back-Forward selection of the OSD menu. 2. Decease the value of sub-menu selection. 3. Auto config hot key. Plus Key: 1. Forward selection of the OSD menu. 2. Minus Key: Without any function assigned to it. Plus Key: Press to rotate display screen. LED indicator 1. Wifi LED When connect by 2.4G, the LED will be blue, when 5G, LED will be amber. Monitor Stylus Pen storage A storage slot is available on the monitor to store the Stylus Pen. Chapter 1. Getting started 1-5 Cable lock slot Your monitor is equipped with a cable lock slot located on the side of your monitor Setting up your monitor This section provides information to help you set up your monitor. Connecting and turning on your monitor Note: The wireless interface to the monitor can be affected by the environment of the location where it is being used, large objects, walls, etc can affect performance. The wireless interface from the host PC to the LT1423pwCA monitor is fully utilized and cannot be used for any other function like internet access. If the host system uses wireless to connect to the internet, a separate wireless interface device is required for the wireless monitor connection. Depending on the configuration the integrated wireless adapter on the system may give better performance with the LT1423pwCA monitor than the supplied USB WiFi adapter. To ensure the best wirele ss experience with LT1423pwCA the maximum distance between the monitor and the host PC should be 8 metres. 1. Power on the computer. 1-6 LT1423pwCA Wide Touch Monitor User’s Guide 2. To install the monitor driver, follow the on-screen instructions. a. Connect the USB cable to the USB port of the side of the monitor and the other two ends to the appropriate USB ports on your computer. b. To install the monitor driver, you can find the driver setup file in the monitor mass storage USB disk. For detailed Setup steps, please see “Chapter 4”. Remark: a. To ensure optimal display performance, connect the monitor to your PC using a USB 3.0 and a USB 2.0 port at the same time. Using only one USB 2.0 port may decrease the brightness level of the display. b. At wireless display mode: If you connect the device to computer with USB cable, the wireless display mode disabled automatically and switched to wired mode. Disable the USB connection to enable the wireless display mode again. 3. Charging the battery Your monitor is shipped with an AC adapter to charge your monitor from any standard AC power outlet. Note: The battery is not fully charged when shipped. If a message is displayed indicating that the battery is less than 10% it is recommended the monitor be shut down and the battery charged to maximize battery life. your monitor’s battery need charge, please take the following actions: a. Plug the AC adapter into a plug adaptor, then plug the plug adaptor into a standard AC power outlet. b. Disconnect the AC adapter from your monitor when the battery power is full, or leave the AC adapter connected to operate from AC power. How to use your USB Wifi adapter: The attached USB WiFi adapter is an independent WiFi device for video connection or network. Using the cover A cover is included with the monitor which provides protection when the monitor is being carried or stored. The cover can also be used as a monitor stand as illustrated below: 1) Attaching the cover 2) Using the cover as a monitor stand a. Remove the monitor from the cover and lift the support feature. b. Put monitor in front of stand leg. Chapter 1. Getting started 1-9 Using the Multi-touch screen Your Monitor support multi-touch function on Win7/Win8 32/64bits OS, can support maximum ten point muti-touch function on Win 8 32/64bits OS. Tap the screen to use the controls on the screen including icons, menu items, and the on-screen keyboard. Following provides instructions on how to use the multi-touch screen. Tap Tap gently on the screen with your fingertip to launch an application, select an item, open a menu, orinput text using the onscreen keyboard. Press and hold Press and hold an object or a blank area on the screen until an action occurs. Drag To move an item such as an image and an icon on the screen, tap and hold your finger on the item, moveyour finger to the desired location, and then take your finger off the screen. Swipe or slide Move your finger in a vertical or horizontal direction on the screen to scroll through the Start screen, Webpages, lists, picture thumbnails, and so on. Zoom • Zoom out: Move two fingers close together on the screen as if you are picking something up to reducethe view of an image or a Web page. • Zoom in: Move two fingers apart on the screen to enlarge the view of an image or a Web page. Double-tap For some applications, quickly tap twice on the screen to zoom in. Double-tap again to zoom out. Using the Monitor Stylus Pen The LT1423pwCA supports touch pen functions on Win7 and Win8 (32 bit / 64 bit) operating systems. The Touch Stylus pen is linked to your monitor and you can use it to input text or draw grahics as well as perform other operations without tapping the screen. It allows the user to take notes on the screen, draw graphics when used with applications that support editing and sketching. B A The Monitor Stylus Pen consists of a tip A and a click button B. Hold the pen and point the tip on the display to move the cursor .To make a selection (single click), tap the display once with the pen. To double-click, tap twice withoutpausing. To do a rightclick, tap the display once and then hold the tip of the pen on the display; the right-click icon appears. Adjusting and using your monitor This section will give you information on adjusting and using your monitor. Comfort and accessibility Good ergonomic practice is important to get the most from your personal computer and to avoid discomfort. Arrange your workplace and the equipment you use to suit your individual needs and the kind of work that you perform. In addition, use healthy work habits to maximize your performance and comfort while using your computer. For more detailed information on any of these topics, visit the Healthy Computing Web site at: http://www.lenovo.com/healthycomputing Arranging your work area Use a work surface of appropriate height and available working area to allow you to work in comfort. Organize you work area to match the way you use materials and equipment. Keep your work area clean and clear for the materials that you typically use and place the items that you use most frequently, such as the computer mouse or telephone, within the easiest reach. Equipment layout and setup play a large role in your working posture. The following topics describe how to optimize equipment setup to achieve and maintain good working posture. Positioning and viewing your monitor Position and adjust your computer monitor for comfortable viewing by considering the following items: • Viewing distance: Optimal viewing distances for monitors range from approximately 510mm to 760mm (20 in to 30 in) and can vary depending on ambient light and time of day. You can achieve different viewing distances by repositioning your monitor or by modifying your posture or chair position. Use a viewing distance that is most comfortable for you. • Monitor height: Position the monitor so your head and neck are in a comfortable and neutral (vertical, or upright) position. If your monitor does not have height adjustments, you have to place books or other sturdy objects under the base of the monitor to achieve the desired height. A general guideline is to position the monitor such that the top of the screen is lightly below your eye-height when you are comfortably seated. However, be sure to optimize your monitor height so the line of site between your eyes and the center the monitor suits your preferences for visual distance and comfortable viewing when your eye muscles are in a relaxed stated. • Tilt: Adjust the tilt of your monitor to optimize the appearance of the screen content and to accommodate your preferred head and neck posture. • General location: Position your monitor to avoid glare or reflections on the screen from overhead lighting or nearby windows. © Copyright Lenovo 2013. 2-1 The following are some other tips for comfortable viewing of your monitor: • Use adequate lighting for the type of work you are performing. • Use the monitor brightness, contrast, and image adjustment controls, if equipped, to optimize the image on your screen to meet your visual preferences. • Keep your monitor screen clean so you can focus on the screen’s contents. Any concentrated and sustained visual activity can be tiring for your eyes. Be sure to periodically look away from your monitor screen and focus on a far object to allow your eye muscles to relax. If you have questions on eye fatigue or visual discomfort, consult a vision care specialist for advice. Quick tips for healthy work habits The following information is the summary of some important factors to consider to help you remain comfortable and productive when you use computer. • Good posture starts with equipment setup: The layout of your work area and the setup of your computer equipment have a large effect on your posture when using your computer. Be sure to optimize the position and orientation of your equipment by following the tips outlined in “Arranging your work area” on page 2-1 so you can maintain a comfortable and productive posture. Also, be sure to use the adjustment capabilities of your computer components and office furniture to best suit your preferences now and as your preferences change over time. • Minor changes in posture can help avoid discomfort: The longer you sit and work in front of your computer, the more important it is to observe your working posture. Avoid as summing any one posture for an extended period of time. Periodically make minor modifications in your posture to help deter any discomforts that might arise. Make use of any adjustments that your office furniture or equipment provide to accommodate changes in posture • Short, periodic breaks help ensure healthy computing: Because computing is primarily a static activity, it is particularly important to take short breaks from your work. Periodically, stand up from your work area, stretch, walk for a drink of water, or otherwise take a short break from using your computer. A short break from work gives your body a welcome change in posture and helps to ensure you remain comfortable and productive while you do work. Using the On-Screen Display (OSD) controls The display settings can be viewed through the on-screen-display (OSD), as shown below USB video connection When WIFI is ready To use the controls: 1. Press to open the main OSD menu. If wireless connection is made via the LT1423pwCA control panel, and the display is normal, you can press the “ ” button to turn on the OSD of LT1423pwCA control panel on the computer, and you need to use the mouse to operate it. Please refer to Point 4 of “Wireless Using” in 4-9. 2. Use or to move across the icons. Select an icon and press to access that function. Then use or to make adjustments, when you’re satisfied with the settings, press to exit the current adjustment. 3. Press to exit from the OSD. 4. “ ” is hot key for adjust the image. Table 2-1. Note: In the wireless mode, if the LT1423pwCA device is not connected through the LT1423pwCA control panel, and the current brightness is 100, you can long press the + key for ten seconds to enter the brightness enhancement mode, to get 10-order brightness. The maximum brightness is 110. This mode will be released when the USB cable is connected or the brightness is adjusted to 100 or below. Adjusts difference between light and dark areas. Automatically optimizes the image. Note: The function is activated during image displayed through USB connection. Go to the options menu. Adjust the monitor’s WIFI channel to match your WIFI adapter. Note: This function is only available when the monitor’s WIFI is Ready to connect. Exit from the OSD. Chapter 2. Adjusting and using your monitor 2-3 OSD Icon on Option Menu This section lists the languages supported by your monitor. Note: The language chosen only affects the language of the OSD. It has no effect on any software running on the computer. When LT1423pwCA control panel is connected via WIFI, the language setting of the monitor will be consistent with the language of the computer system (which must be the language supported by the monitor). Understanding power management Power management is invoked when the computer goes to stand-by mode. The monitor states are described below. For optimal performance, unplug the USB cable and switch off your monitor by monitor’s power key at the end of each working day, or whenever you expect to leave it unused for long periods during the day. Do not: • Apply water or liquid directly to your monitor. • Use solvents or abrasives. • Use flammable cleaning materials to clean your monitor or any other electrical equipment. • Touch the screen area of your monitor with sharp or abrasive items. This type of contact may cause permanent damage to your screen. • Use any cleaner which contains an anti-static solution or similar additives. This may harm the coating of the screen area. Do: • Lightly dampen a soft cloth with water and use this to gently wipe the covers and the screen. • Remove grease or finger marks with a damp cloth and a little mild detergent. Selecting a supported display mode The display mode the monitor uses is controlled by the computer. Therefore, refer to your computer documentation for details on how to change display modes. The image size, position and shape might change when the display mode changes. This is normal and the image can be readjusted using automatic image setup and the image controls. Unlike CRT monitors, which require a high refresh rate to minimize flicker, LCD or Flat Panel technology is inherently flicker-free. Note: If your system has previously been used with a CRT monitor and is currently configured to a display mode outside the range of this monitor, you may need to re-attach the CRT monitor temporarily until you have re-configured the system; preferably to 1600 x 900 at 60 Hz, which is the Native Resolution Display mode. Before calling your dealer or Lenovo, try the suggested actions that are appropriate to your problem. If touch / Stylus function not working on LT1423p when in extended mode, please set your notebook via following steps: 1. Open “Control panel”, then find the “Tablet PC Setting”. 2. Click “Tablet PC Setting” and Windows will shows below picture. 3. Please click “Setting” button, you will find below window on your notebook screen. 3-2 LT1423pwCA Wide Touch Monitor User’s Guide 4. 2 options to set up the stylus pen and the touch function. Click “stylus pen input”, your notebook screen will show below picture.Then click “Enter” button of your keyboard, the picture will also be displayed on your monitor screen. 5. Touch function setting is similar with the previous one.>.Finally, the stylus pen and the touch function will be effective both on your monitor and your notebook screen. Table 3-2. This is a characteristic of the LCD technology and is not an LCD defect. If there are more than five pixels missing, contact the Customer Support Center. Driver Installation PC Requirements Lenovo LT1423pwCA control panel software can be used on PCs, from Netbooks, Notebooks/Laptops to Desktops. The driver will run on processors ranging from Atom N270 based PCs, basic single Core CPUs, and of course the latest Dual, Quad Core and Core i3/i5/i7 CPUs. The performance of the software is dependent upon the processing power available, as well as the operating system in use. More capable systems offer higher performance. Lenovo LT1423pwCA control panel software is available for PCs running one of the following Windows operating systems: Windows 7 (32-bit or 64-bit) Windows 8 Home or Professional (including monitor edition) with Service Pack 2 or 3 Note: No Windows Server editions are supported. Recommended typical system requirements are: Windows 7 For Windows 7, the Windows Experience Index (WEI) is a useful measure of hardware level. The WEI is accessible from Computer > Properties, or from Control Panel > System. The recommended typical hardware requirements for the PC are: WEI score of at least 3 in the ‘Graphics; Desktop performance for Windows Aero’ category. Note: If you have v3.x, R4.1 or R4.2 DisplayLink software installed you must uninstall it, using the Windows Add/Remove Programs feature, before installing this release. Devices will continue working after this release is installed. To Install the Lenovo LT1423pwCA control panel software on Windows 7/8 The preferred method of installation is using Window 7’s Windows Update facility. 1. Connect your Lenovo LT1423pwCA monitor via the USB cable to your PC. Windows Detects the new hardware and automatically install the Mass storage USB disk. LT1423pwCA control panel setup file and user manual is in the root directory. 2. You’ll be prompted to install and upgrade existing older software, if any, when installing the LT1423pwCA control panel software. Please click Next, Install, Override older software, Upgrade software, and Finish when being prompted. Chapter 4. After successful installation of drivers included with your LT1423pwCA control panel, please wait for your Windows OS to set up new driving devices and display screens. If normal display screen failed to show after new device drivers have been installed, please restart your computer manually. Chapter 4. Working with LT1423pwCA Wide WIFI monitor 4-5 Set up network card operation mode Please follow steps below to ensure good effects of your wireless display: Get into your Windows system’s control panel and then click System >> Device manager >> Network adapter, search for and select desired wireless networking device (usually contains letters WIFI),double click to enter the Property page, check to open the 802.11n work mode, click OK to accept your settings. Please note that your wireless network card will switch work mode and restart. In case it is connected to a networked device, a temporary networking failure may occur. Note: The screen may flash or go black during the install. On some machines you may reboot before you can use your DisplayLink enabled device. Wireless monitor using 1. After Lenovo LT1423pwCA control panel software installation, the software will be auto-started with Windows® system. Press power key shortly within one second will bring monitor into energy saving mode, display and touch function are off but monitor still powered on to recall normal usings. To power off the wireless monitor you can press power button and hold 3 seconds at least to pop up the host and monitor control OSD, and select shut down monitor. Or you can hold the power key 8 seconds to power off the monitor without OSD operations. 4. The section is divided into sub-sections relating to your operating system. Note: The terminology for mirror mode, can vary between operating systems and the DisplayLink GUI. The terms “Clone”, “Mirror” and “Duplicate” essentially all provide the same function of cloning the pixels from one display to another. Windows 7 - Controlling the Display On Windows 7, you can configure a DisplayLink device through the use of Windows Display Properties (WDP). WDP provides a simple method to attach, rotate, duplicate or extend screens as well as modify screen resolution. To open WDP 1. Right click on the DisplayLink icon 2. Click Advanced Configuration. 3. The display marked 1 becomes blank. To control the behaviour of an attached DisplayLink display, it is also possible to use Windows Key+P to display a menu (and cycle through it) to switch mode. Working with LT1423pwCA Wide WIFI monitor 4-11 The DisplayLink Icon Application You can configure the behaviour of the DisplayLink Graphics through the DisplayLink icon applications on the taskbar, where present. To show the DisplayLink Manager menu 1. From the taskbar, click the Show hidden icons arrow to show all available icons. 2. Click the DisplayLink icon . A menu appears with several options, as described in the following table. Optimize for Video Select this option for better movie playback performance on the DisplayLink enabled displays. Only select this option when playing back video content. Advanced Configuration Opens the Windows Display Properties (WDP) Windows 8 – Controlling the Display When devices are attached, an icon appears in the taskbar. This gives you access to the DisplayLink manager menu. To use the DisplayLink Manager Menu 1. Click the DisplayLink icon on the taskbar. Off Switches off the secondary display. Optimize for Video (Windows 7 Only) Configures the secondary display for optimum full screen video performance output. Note: Text may appear less clear. Working with LT1423pwCA Wide WIFI monitor 4-13 Additional Information The following section provides additional information on the use of the DisplayLink Graphics software. Monitor Calibration DDC/CI is not supported on displays with integrated DisplayLink technology, for example mini monitors. Media Playback On Windows 7, Windows 8 (in extend modes), the DisplayLink USB Graphics device can display media files and DVDs using the following media players: Windows Media Player 11 (http://www.microsoft.com/windows/windowsmedia/ default.mspx) WinDVD 8 (www.intervideo.com) PowerDVD 7 (www.cyberlink.com) RealPlayer 11 (www.real.com) The DisplayLink USB Graphics device can display media files and DVDs using most media players. Media playback in mirror mode (Windows 8) or in Basic mode (Windows 7) is not recommended. Using Multiple LT1423pwCA devices The software supports up to six simultaneously USB/WIFI attached screens. It is also possible that different sets of screens are being used at different times, for example two in the office and two at home. The software saves each screen’s display profile separately. This allows for different physical positioning, or different resolutions, of connected monitors in the office and the home. Standby and Hibernate, Shut down and Restart If the PC that the LT1423pwCA monitor device is connected to is placed into standby or hibernate mode, the display goes blank. When the PC is again powered up (and unlocked if necessary) the connected monitor returns to the same mode as it was before stand by or hibernation. If the PC is shut down, restarted and logged in, again the connected display returns to the same mode as it was before shutdown. If you are using the LT1423pwCA monitor through WIFI connection, you may need Windows system to refresh the WIFI device and then connect to the SSID you need in the LT1423pwCA control panel. LT1423pwCA monitor with Multiple Users WTM monitor work with multiple users on the PC. The mode settings are saved for each user so each can use their own desktop configuration. Disconnecting the LT1423pwCA monitor If the LT1423pwCA monitor device is powered off or the USB cable is removed from the computer, the display blanks. All windows and icons move to the primary screen. On reconnection or powering up of the LT1423pwCA monitor device, the display returns to the same mode as it was before disconnection. However, windows and icons that were previously on the screen will not be moved back. 4-14 LT1423pwCA Wide Touch Monitor User’s Guide Error Messages DisplayLink Graphics software occasionally displays user messages in a bubble in the notification area. The table below lists the user messages and their descriptions. The PC does not have enough memory to start an extend display. Close down any unused applications. The situation may also be improved by rebooting the PC. The requested This can occur if trying to mirror a primary display with a allocation size was too resolution above 1600x900 (16:9). large Incompatible Display Driver This message will appear if the primary graphics card drivers installed are not WDDM compatible. Windows 7 is not designed to operate without WDDM drivers. Download and install the latest Windows 7 (WDDM) drivers for your primary graphics card. The system cannot write to the specified devices This warning may be displayed in Windows 8 after changing the display mode several times (e.g. Extend/Dock mode) from the DisplayLink GUI. If this happens, detach and reattach the device to restore normal operation. Troubleshooting This section provides tips for correcting problems, should any occur. It also describes how to contact Lenovo should you encounter problems that you cannot resolve. Before you call Lenovo, please read the troubleshooting advice in this manual and in your computer User’s Manual. You may also want to consult with your system administrator or company technical support staff. Precautions for Microsoft® Windows® This product does not support 3D programs or Blue-Ray Disk. Due to the configurations of computers and Windows® operating systems available, functionality may differ slightly than stated in the user manual. This may be due to the computer manufacture’s BIOS and other custom configurations of the hardware, pre-installed software or operating system installed at time of production. If you have specific problems, you may need to contact the computer manufacturer to inquire about BIOS, hardware driver or operating system updates. The Fn + F5 functionality detailed in the electronic User’s Guide for your Lenovo computer only controls the internal video controller of your computer. The Lenovo LT1423pwCA Wide USB monitor utilizes an advanced video graphics controller to display the video. However, due to USB 3.0 transfer speed limitations and WIFI bandwidth (also affected by environment), some or all portions of DVD playback may appear slow or choppy. This is not a malfunction of the Lenovo LT1423pwCA Wide monitor. Move the video playback from the Lenovo LT1423pwCA Wide monitor to your computer display for optimal video performance when viewing DVDs. On Windows® 8 systems, DVDs may not display correctly on the Lenovo LT1423pwCA Wide monitor. Use your computer’s built-in monitor to view DVDs. In some software application programs that utilize certain direct draw commands such as some 2D-Games, the display on the Lenovo LT1423pwCA Wide USB Chapter 4. Working with LT1423pwCA Wide WIFI monitor 4-15 monitor will not be supported. If you want to play these games in full screen, we suggest you disconnect the Lenovo LT1423pwCA Wide USB monitor. This product is unable to enter full screen DOS mode when using the Lenovo LT1423pwCA Wide USB monitor. Using through WIFI connection: Make sure the monitor is no connect to a USB cable.Connect the AC adaptor Recharge the monitor for 10 minutes then power up the monitor. The screen is blank, although the power is on USB connection using: Make sure the USB cable is properly connected to the computer. Make sure the computer is on and working. The computer may be in sleep or power-saving mode, or displaying a blank screen saver. Move the mouse to “wake up” the computer. Using through WIFI connection: Press power key within 1 second to wake up the monitor from energy saving mode.Make sure the computer is connect to the monitor correctly in WCP (LT1423pwCA control panel). Or you need to press connect under the SSID of the monitor in the WCP connection management.Reboot the monitor and connect with LT1423pwCA control panel The picture “bounces” or moves in a wave-like pattern Move electrical devices that may cause electrical interference away from the monitor. Minor issues can generally be resolved by: Unplugging and re-plugging the LT1423pwCA monitor, or Reboot LT1423pwCA monitor and connect again in connect management of LT1423pwCA control panel changing the display mode via the DisplayLink GUI, or changing the display mode via Windows Display Properties. On Windows 7 WDDM (Aero and Basic) DisplayLink software works closely with the graphics card and there may be interoperability issues with some graphics cards. If this happen: 1. Try to upgrade to the latest graphics drivers. 2. Try to upgrade to latest LT1423pwCA control panel software. 3. Report the issue via your support channel. 4.
