410
Installation Instructions
This document describes how to install the AT410 Adaptable Transmitter. The AT410 is
connected to a smoke detector in a Senior Living facility. It provides a secondary signal which
can help isolate the specific location of an emergency when the smoke detector goes off.
Figure 1 shows the top and bottom view of AT410 Adaptable Transmitter.

it in the direction of the arrow (see Figure 1 for location of battery compartment door).
2. Remove the 9V battery from the battery compartment.
3. Disconnect the battery connectors from the battery and properly dispose of the used
battery.
4. Connect the battery connectors to a new 9V alkaline battery.
5. Insert the battery into the battery compartment.
6. Slide the battery compartment door back into place.
Note: This installation must be performed by a licensed electrician or a certified
maintenance technician authorized to access the primary smoke detectors in the facility.
