Dual keypads - Send or receive calls on either the HANDSET or the BASE UNIT. Hands Free Speakerphone - Use the BASE UNIT as a speakerphone and adjust the volume to suit your needs, Telephone Number Storage - Stores up to 10 frequently called numbers on the HANDSET and 10 diiferent numbers on the BASE UNIT, Desk or Wall Mount - Use this equipment as a desk phone or as a trail phone. To'ne or Pulse Dialing - Use this phone for either tone or push—button pulse (rotary) dialing. Two Way Intercom - Place and receive calls from both HANDSET and BASE UNIT. Automated Functions - Redial the last number called. speed dial to numbers and automatic STANDBY. Security - Ensures greater privacy because a built-in security code with 65,536 combi- nau’ons prevents use of your telephone line by another nearby cordless phone. Dependable Battery — Recharge your battery pack many times with the built—in charger. The battery low warning tone tells you when the battery pack needs recharging. See page 19. Special Services - Use the button to access special services such as Call Waiting supplied by your telephone company or company switchboard. STANDBY Mode - When in STANDBY mode, the phone is capable 01 receiving a call (ON HOOK). When the HANDSET is on the BASE UNIT, it is automatically in the STANDBY mode (ON HOOK). When the HANDSET is taken off the BASE UNIT it remains in the STANDBY mode until you activate the w button. Base Volume (UP) Adjustment: Press to increase the volume level of the BASE UNIT speaker. Speakerphone Indicator: Blinks rapidly when you initiate an intercom call or it an intercom call is received. Lights up when the SPEAKERPHONE function is in use. Sp-phone (SPEAKERPHONE) Button: Press to place and receive calls without using the HAN DSET.
