Plug in the Unifying receiver into your laptop or desktop computer. You can use the USB extender cable provided to position the Unifying receiver away from metallic objects or devices that may cause interference. USB Note: You can also use your keyboard to control an Android⢠enabled TV. Refer to the documentation supplied by your TV manufacturer for compatibility information and further connection details. *HDMI cable is not included. 2. Turn on your keyboard. English Logitech Illuminated Living-Room Keyboard K830 Using Bluetooth Smart without the Unifying receiver You have the option to connect your keyboard to a compatible WindowsÂŽ 8 computer or TV running Android 5.0 or later using the latest generation Bluetooth Smart technology. To pair your Bluetooth Smart Ready PC or TV and keyboard: 1. Turn on your keyboard and ensure that the Unifying receiver is not connected to your PC or TV. 2. Press the Fn + Del buttons simultaneously. The Bluetooth connection indicator blinks to indicate the keyboard is discoverable. It remains discoverable for 2 minutes. 3. Complete Bluetooth Smart pairing on your compatible WindowsÂŽ 8 computer: a. Go to Control Panel Devices and Printers. b. Click âAdd a deviceâ. A list of discoverable devices is displayed. c. Select âK830â from the list. d. Click âNextâ, and follow the on-screen instructions. You can also pair your keyboard to an Android enabled TV. Refer to the documentation supplied by your TV manufacturer for further connection details. Light Description Blinking green Fast: The keyboard is in discovery mode, ready for pairing. English Logitech Illuminated Living-Room Keyboard K830 Using your k yboard Keyboard backlighting Touchpad gestures When you start using your keyboard, the automatic light sensor detects the light level in the room and adjusts the keyboard backlight intensity accordingly. There are three intensity levels: ⢠In bright light: no keyboard illumination. ⢠In poor light: full intensity backlight. ⢠In the dark: half intensity backlight. You can manually override the automatic key to cycle backlighting setting. Press the between the three intensity levels. A three-hour charge provides up to 10 days of use when you type about two hours a day with backlight on, or about one year without backlight.
