The LRS TX-14C updater and R1201 receiver integrate with theseTable Management Systems to enable restaurant staff to wirelessly update the status of tables with a com-pact wireless device. · The current status of each table is always available to the hostess station.· Status can be changed from the floor or the hostess station.· The T7470-C232 receiver is updated directly through a radio transmitter located in the TX-14C hand held keypad.NOTICE: Operation is subject to the following:• This device may not cause interference• This device will accept any interference including interference that may cause undesired operation ofthe unit.TX-14C/T7470-C232 Host Computer Table Management SystemDiagram
Long Range Systems 3TX-14C User ManualInstallation and SetupTransmitter InstallationCAUTION: Do not mount the TX-14C transmitter or T7470-C232 receiver antennas near any large metal objects.NOTE: The TX-14C transmitter should be charging whenever not in use.1. Unwrap all TX-14C transmitter and T7470-C232 receiver components.2. The TX-14C transmitter is portable and battery powered. It is charged in the same power chargerused for LRS paddle and star pagers.3. Connect the antenna (about 3” long) onto the connector on the back of the receiver. It is best tomount the antenna pointing straight up, perpendicular to the ground.4. Mount the receiver convenient to a 110/220V power and near the host computer.5. Plug the power supply into standard 110V/220V outlet and the barrel connector end into the sidehole on the T7470-C232 receiver.6. Connect the RS-232 cable from the T7470-C232 receiver to the host computer.7. Long Range Systems 4TX-14C User ManualTX-14C Keypad FunctionsBefore you begin using the TX-14C handheld transmitter, read the following keypad descriptions.Functions KeysClears the table from the Host Receiver list.To designate a table as seated, enter the table number and press SEATLists the table as ready on the Host Receiver.To mark a table as Open and ready to be Seated, enter the table num-ber and press OPENSends the hold command to the Host Receiver.To mark a table as Closed, enter the table number and press CLOSETransfers a party from one table to another To move a party from one table to another, enter the table numberyou wish to transfer from, press TRNSFR, enter the number of thetable you wish to transfer the party to, press ENTER  (Table# -Transfer - Table # - Enter).Sends the Bus command to the Host receiver.When a table is being bussed, enter the table number and press BUS Clears the input to restart a new commandChecks functions of the TX-14C handheld: Version Check, Battery Level,Handheld Reset, and Range Test, Completes the Transfer function.Number NumberThe number keys (1 – 0) are used to enter table numbers.Test and Reset FunctionsVersion CheckPress 5 then the TEST key to check the version. Battery CheckPress the TEST key to check the battery. The display shows a number to indicate the battery charge (5 isfully charged and 1 is very weak).Reset If the battery has been allowed to totally discharge, it may be necessary to reset the TX-14C for it to func-tion properly. To reset the TX-14C:1. Put the TX-14C on charge.2. After the TX-14C is charged, enter 0-7-6 on the keypad.3. Press the Test button.Range TestThe operating range of the unit can be checked by sending continuous open and close commands to the re-ceiver while moving around the test area. WarrantyLong Range Systems, LLC permits a one-year manufacturer’s warranty fol-lowing the original consumer purchase date of any LRS system. Any indi-vidual components or products purchased will receive a 30-day manufacturewarranty. This warranty covers any defects due to faulty material or work-manship, but does not include damage to the product resulting from acci-dent, misuse or improper electrical connection. If the product or systemshould become defective within the warranty period, we will repair or re-place with equivalent equipment, free of charge. We will pay transporta-tion charges to return your product via standard FedEx Ground shipping,provided the product is shipped prepaid to:Long Range Systems, LLC4550 Excel Pkwy, Suite 200Addison, TX 75001No return or replacement can be received without prior authorization fromthe LRS Customer Support department or without the proper RMA# postedon the outside of the shipping container.
