It may also be necessary to loosen the hex nut on the left
idler pulley to get the belt off the pulley and around the
belt guard.

Carefully remove the deck belt from around the two
spindle pulleys and the two deck idler pulleys. See Figure
7-9.

To place the new belt, begin by routing the belt around the
two outer spindle pulleys as shown in Figure 7-9.

Then route the belt around the two deck idler pulleys as
shown in Figure 7-9.

Retighten the belt keeper rod loosened earlier.

For38" Decks

Remount the belt guards removed earlier.

Tochange or replacethe deck belt on your tractor, proceed asfollows:

Re-install the deck, making sure the belt remains routed
around the pulleys as instructed. See Figure 7-11.

Remove the belt guards by removing the self-tapping
screws that fasten them to the deck.

Pull the right side of the belt, and place the narrowV side of
the belt into the PTOpulley.

While holding the belt and pulley together, rotate the
pulley to the left. Continue holding and rotating the pulley
and belt until the belt is fully rolled into the PTOpulley.

ignition key, disconnect the spark plug wire(s) and
ground against the engine to prevent unintended
starting before removing the belt.
WARNING! All belts on your tractor are subject to
wear and should be replaced if any signs of wear are
present.

Coloque siempre la palanca de control del regulador en
la posici6n FAST (velocidad r_pida) (liebre) y d_jela en esa
posici6n mientras realiza el corte de c_sped. Si el motor
no se mantiene con el regulador a pleno se somete al
motor del tractor a un esfuerzo mayor que no permite que
las cuchillas desintegren adecuadamente
el recorte de
c_sped que se distribuye como abono. Se debe controlar
la velocidad absoluta usando la palanca de control de
velocidad.

Abono
Ciertos modelos est_n equipados con un kit para abono que
incorpora cuchillas especiales alas que vienen en el tractor
est_ndar, en un proceso de recirculaci6n
del recorte de c_sped
repetidas veces debajo de la plataforma de corte. Los recortes
muy finos luego son despedidos

depositen en el c_sped y actuen como fertilizante

de _ngulo. Siempre moler cada filo de la cuchilla de corte pot
igual a mantener el equilibrio de la hoja adecuada.Wase la

En su car_cterde propietariodel motorde equipos de exteriores,usted es responsabledel mantenimientorequeridoquese especificaen el manualdel propietario. MTDConsumerGroupInc le recomiendaque conservetodos losrecibos quecubrenel mantenimientode su motor,no obstanteIo cual MTDConsumerGroup
Inc no podr_denegarel cumplimientode lagarantia Qnicamentepor lafalta de los recibos.
Comopropietariodel motorde equiposde exteriores,usteddebe saber queMTDConsumerGroupInc. puededenegarlacoberturade lagarantia si su motoro
unapieza del mismofallan debido a uso incorrecto,negligencia,mantenimientoindebidoo a modificacionesno aprobadas.
Ustedes responsablede presentarsu motoral centrode distribuci6no serviciotecnico de MTDConsumerGroupInc. tan prontocomo aparezcael problema.Las

falla de una piezagarantizadaidentica,en todos losaspectos materialesa la pieza descriptaen la solicitudde certificaci6nde MTDConsumerGroupInc.
El periodode garantiacomienzaen la fechade entregadel motoral compradorfinal o en lafecha en que la m_quinase pone en funcionamientopot primeravez.
El periodode garantiaes de dos aSos.
Sujetoa ciertas condicionesy exclusionesquese indicana continuaci6n,lagarantia de las piezas relacionadascon lasemisioneses la siguiente:
