SETTING the TRANSMITTER CHANNEL
Using the Rotary Tuning Switches, set the left and right switches to correspond to the channel
number you need to transmit on. The MWT-S9 has 37 possible transmitting channels.
EXAMPLE: To set your transmitter to channel “1”, carefully turn the left Rotary Tuning Switch to the
number “0” and turn the right switch to the number “1”. Note: It is important to confirm the switch
“LOCKS” on the selected number.

Connecting the MWT-S9 to an Audio Source
Audio Output
TV’s, VCR’s CD players, DVD players, Satellite and Radio Tuners can be used as audio sources for
the MWT-S9. All will require stereo RCA style audio output jacks in order to use the supplied MYE
stereo audio cable. Audio sources that use different output jacks will require a different audio cable.
To use a TELEVISION as an audio source for the MWT-S9 transmitter, the TV must have “Audio
Output Jacks.” Televisions with this capability may come with either “Fixed” or “Variable” audio
output. Please consult your television Owner’s Manual as to their operation.
Connect the Transmitter
1. Using the stereo audio cable supplied, connect one end into the left and right audio
OUTPUT jacks of the audio source.
2. Plug the other end of the audio cable into the left and right audio INPUT jacks on the

3. The MWT-S9 Transmitter features an Automatic Level Control (ALC) to provide distortion
free sound without concern for loud commercials or audio track spikes.
4. Insert the DC power plug into the DC power jack on the MWT-S9
5. Plug the AC power adapter into an AC outlet.
6. The power light on the MWT-S9 will turn “GREEN”
7. Turn on your audio source and adjust audio level.
8. When using TV’s with audio output, turn the speakers down or off.
(Consult your TV’s Owner’s Manual for Fixed and Variable Audio Output operation.)
9. When the audio signal is being received by the MWT-S9 transmitter the audio indicator light
will turn GREEN.
10. When audio drops below a detectable level for the Automatic Level Control (ALC) the audio
light will turn RED. This light will stay RED for 30 seconds while the transmitter maintains its
current audio level. When an acceptable audio level is retuned to the unit, the light will turn
green again. This may happen between TV programs or songs when audio is low or not
present.
11. When the audio level is not present for longer than 30 seconds the audio indicator light will
turn OFF. (If no audio light is present, confirm all your audio cable connections or check the
audio source equipment.)
12. Use a MYE Entertainment 900MHz controller to verify audio transmission is complete.

Mounting Bracket
The MWT-S9 comes with a Mounting Bracket that allows for easy wall, ceiling or under-shelf
mounting of the transmitter. Four holes in the bracket give access for screws or nylon cable
ties. The mounting bracket SNAPS into either the TOP or BOTTOM of the
MWT-S9 giving the transmitter a high level of adaptability and solid positioning in nearly all
mounting scenarios.

BY USING THE EQUIPMENT, YOU ARE
CONSENTING TO BE BOUND BY THE FOLLOWING WARRANTY TERMS AND CONDITIONS.
LIMITED WARRANTY
MYE ENTERTAINMENT (MYE) WARRANTS ALL NEW MYE PRODUCTS TO BE FREE FROM DEFECTS IN MATERIALS AND
MANUFACTURERS FOR THE WARRANTY PERIODS SET FORTH BELOW. THE WARRANTY PERIODS COMMENCE ON THE INVOICE
DATE OF THE ORIGINAL PURCHASE. THIS WARRANTY APPLIES ONLY AGAINST DEFECTS DISCOVERED WITHIN THE WARRANTY
PERIOD AND EXTENDS ONLY TO THE ORIGINAL PURCHASER OF THE PRODUCT. PARTS REPAIRED OR REPLACED UNDER THE
TERMS OF THIS WARRANTY WILL BE WARRANTED FOR THE REMAINDER OF THE ORIGINAL WARRANTY PERIOD ONLY. TO

REPAIRS REFORMED ON MYE PRODUCTS MISSING A SERIAL NUMBER OR WITH A SERIAL TAG THAT HAS BEEN
ALTERED, REATTACHED OR DEFACED.

SERVICE CALLS TO CORRECT INSTALLATION OF THE PRODUCT OR INSTRUCT OWNERS ON HOW TO USE THE
PRODUCT.

PICK UP AND DELIVERY INVOLVING REPAIRS

ANY LABOR COSTS INCURRED BEYOND THE APPLICABLE LABOR WARRANTY PERIOD

THE USER IS CAUTIONED THAT CHANGES OR MODIFICATIONS NOT EXPRESSLY APPROVED BY THE MANUFACTURER
OF THE PRODUCT COULD VOID THE USER’S AUTHORITY TO OPERATE THE PRODUCT.

IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING THE WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR
PURPOSE THAT APPLY TO ANY PARTS DESCRIBED ABOVE ARE LIMITED IN DURATION TO THE PERIODS OF
EXPRESS WARRANTIES GIVEN ABOVE FOR THOSE SAME PARTS. MYE HEREBY DISCLAIMS AND EXCLUDES
THOSE WARRANTIES THEREAFTER. SOME STATES DO NOT ALLOW LIMITATIONS ON HOW LONG AN IMPLIED
WARRANTY LASTS, SO THE ABOVE LIMITATION MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU. MYE ENTERTAINMENT ALSO HEREBY

ARISING FROM THE NEGLIGENCE OF MYE OR ITS SUPPLIERS (WHETHER ACTIVE, PASSIVE OR IMPUTED); AND
(B) ANY OBLIGATION, LIABILITY, RIGHT, CLAIM OR REMEDY FOR LOSS OF OR DAMAGE TO ANY PRODUCT. THIS
DISCLAIMER AND RELEASE SHALL APPLY EVEN IF THE EXPRESSED WARRANTY SET FORTH ABOVE FAILS OF
ITS ESSENTIAL PURPOSE.
FOR ANY PRODUCT DESCRIBED ABOVE THAT FAILS TO CONFORM TO ITS WARRANTY, MYE ENTERTAINMENT WILL
PROVIDE, AT THEIR OPTION ONE OF THE FOLLOWING: 1) REPAIR, 2) REPLACEMENT OR 3) REFUND OF THE
PURCHASE PRICE.
MYE AND/OR ITS SUPPLIERS SHALL HAVE NO OBLIGATION OR LIABILITY, WHETHER ARISING IN CONTRACT
(INCLUDING WARRANTY), TORT (INCLUDING ACTIVE, PASSIVE, OR IMPUTED NEGLIGENCE AND STRICT
