Installation and Operation Instructions Wireless Vibration/Motion Sensor Model VMEZIO Description: The motion scoring module measures motion and transmits packets which contain information pertaining to the motion which it measures. It is installed in locations where motion is to be monitored. Service Button: Briefly press the service button to activate the module. Press and hold for several seconds, then release, to deactivate the module. Packet Structure: Adhoc Motion (41/40) IDSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSaaaaCCCCKKNote: All fields are in ASCII Hex “ID” This field is the device type and mode indicator, the value 41 indicates that this is VMEZIO packet; 40 indicates the VMEZIO Sensor is in service mode. “SSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS” The MS-64 bits of these 8-bytes are the serial number of the VMEZIO Vibration/Motion Sensor. "aaaa" 0-4095 value in ASCII HEX indication the vibration/motion level. “CCCC” This field is the CRC-16 error check as was originally received and checked. This CRC is over the first 11 bytes of the packet starting with the device type and ending with inclusion of the “0000000000” data. “KK” This field is the mod 256 sum of all the binary data values as represented by the ASCII hex values in the response but does not include the .
