ENGLISHBluetooth wireless technologyBluetooth wireless technology allows you to connect compatible devices without cables. The speakerphone and the other device do not need to be in line of sight, but they should be within 10 metres (33 feet) of each other. Connections may be subject to interference from obstructions, such as walls, or other electronic devices.The speakerphone is compliant with the Bluetooth Specification 2.1 + EDR supporting the following profiles: Handsfree Profile 1.5. Check with the manufacturers of other devices to determine their compatibility with this device.Get startedThe speakerphone contains the following parts shown on the title page: volume down key (1), microphone (2), answer/end key with indicator light (3), clip (4), volume up key (5), power key (6), release tab (7), speaker (8), and charger connector (9).Before using the speakerphone, you must charge the battery and pair the speakerphone with a compatible device.Parts of the device are magnetic. Metallic materials may be attracted to the device. Do not place credit cards or other magnetic storage media near the device, because information stored on them may be erased.Charge the batteryBefore charging the battery, carefully read “Battery information”.1. The red indicator light is displayed while charging.If you use a charger that is connected to the cigarette lighter socket, power must be supplied by a 12-volt car battery. Make sure the charger is properly inserted in the cigarette lighter socket and does not interfere with the normal operation of the car.In some car models, the cigarette lighter socket is powered by the car battery, even when you remove the ignition key. In those cases, the car battery might be discharged, even if the speakerphone is not used. For more information, contact the vehicle manufacturer.If charging does not start, disconnect the charger and plug it in again. Charging the battery fully may take up to 2 hours.3. When the battery is fully charged, the green indicator light is displayed. Disconnect the charger from the speakerphone, then from the power source.The fully charged battery has power for up to 10 hours of talk time or up to 240 hours of standby time.To check the battery charge, observe the colour of the indicator light when you switch on the speakerphone. If the light is green, the charge level is sufficient. If the light is yellow, you may need to recharge the battery soon. If the light is red, recharge the battery.When the battery charge is low, the speakerphone beeps every 5 minutes and the red indicator light flashes.Switch on or offTo switch on, press the power key. When the speakerphone is connected to your device and is ready for use, the blue indicator light flashes slowly. If the speakerphone has not been paired with a device, it automatically enters pairing mode.To switch off, press the power key. The speakerphone beeps, and the red indicator light is briefly displayed. If the speakerphone is not connected to a device within about 30 minutes, it switches off automatically.Pair and connectBefore using the speakerphone, you must pair and connect it to a compatible device.You can pair the speakerphone with up to 8 devices, but connect it to only one device at a time.1. Make sure your mobile device is switched on.2. If you have not previously paired the speakerphone with a device, switch on the speakerphone. The speakerphone enters pairing mode, and the blue indicator light starts to flash quickly.If you have previously paired the speakerphone with a device, make sure the Bluetooth function is deactivated in the current device or the device is not within 10 metres (33 feet) of the speakerphone. Then switch off the speakerphone, and switch it on again.3. Within about 3 minutes, activate the Bluetooth feature on your device, and set the device to search for Bluetooth devices. In some devices, you may need to make the connection separately after pairing.When the speakerphone is connected to your device and is ready for use, the blue indicator light flashes slowly.When you switch on the speakerphone, it tries to connect to the last used device. If the connection fails, the speakerphone tries to connect to one of the other paired devices. To reconnect the speakerphone when it is on, but not connected to a device, make sure the other device is on, and switch the speakerphone off and back on; or make the connection in the Bluetooth menu of your device.You may be able to set your mobile device so that the speakerphone connects to it automatically. Firmly press the hook and loop end of the strap against the felt on the strap (17) to keep the speakerphone securely in place. Fold the sunvisor up against the car roof (18).Attach the speakerphone to the clipLine up the recess at the right side of the speakerphone with the catch on the clip (11), and press the left side towards the clip (12) to lock the speakerphone firmly in place. Speak towards the speakerphone microphone. For optimal performance, check that there are no objects in front of the microphone and that the microphone is in front of you. During a call, the blue indicator light is displayed.To redial the number you last called (if your mobile device supports this feature with the speakerphone), when no call is in progress, press the answer/end key twice.To activate voice dialling (if your mobile device supports this feature with the speakerphone), when no call is in progress, press and hold the answer/end key for about 2 seconds. Proceed as described in the user guide of the mobile device.To answer a call, press the answer/end key. ENGLISHActivate or deactivate lightsBy default, the indicator lights are used in all situations. To deactivate the lights in some situations (for example, during a call or when the speakerphone is connected to a mobile device), press and hold the answer/end key and the volume down key for about 5 seconds when the speakerphone is connected to a device. The speakerphone beeps, and the yellow indicator light flashes once.To activate the lights, press and hold the answer/end key and the volume up key for about 5 seconds. The speakerphone beeps, and the green indicator light flashes once.Clear settings or resetTo clear the pairing settings from the speakerphone, switch off the speakerphone, and press and hold the power key and the answer/end key at the same time for over 8 seconds. ENGLISHBattery informationThis device has an internal, nonremovable, rechargeable battery. Do not attempt to remove the battery from the device as you may damage the device. This device is intended for use when supplied with power from the following chargers: AC-3, AC-4, AC-5, AC-8, AC-15, DC-4, DC-9, and DC-13. The exact charger model number may vary depending on the type of plug. The plug variant is identified by one of the following: E, X, AR, U, A, C, K, or B. The battery can be charged and discharged hundreds of times, but it will eventually wear out.Talk and standby times are estimates only. Actual times are affected by, for example, device settings, features being used, battery condition, and temperature.If the battery has not been used for a long time, to begin charging, you may need to connect the charger, then disconnect and reconnect it.If the battery is completely discharged, it may take several minutes before the charging indicator is displayed.When your charger is not in use, unplug it from the electrical plug and the device. Do not leave a fully charged battery connected to a charger, as overcharging may shorten the battery's lifetime. If left unused, a fully charged battery will lose its charge over time.Always keep the battery between 15°C and 25°C (59°F and 77°F).
