Read these simple guidelines. Not following them may be dangerous or against local laws and
regulations.
The smart features of the device are compatible with Lumia phones running Windows 8.1 or
higher, the Device hub 4.0 or higher, and Bluetooth 4.0 or higher. The app and a full list of
compatible phones are available in Store. For compatibility with Android 4.4 or higher and
IOS 6.0 or higher, check the availability of apps in the relevant store.
Using services or downloading content, including free items, may cause the transfer of large
amounts of data, which may result in data costs.

Get started
1. To switch your sensor on, open the back cover, insert the battery, and replace the back
cover. Your sensor starts searching for compatible devices.
2. On your phone, switch Bluetooth on, open the Device hub app, and follow the instructions
shown on the phone.
3. Tap Customise to set up your sensor.

The crossed-out wheeled-bin symbol on your product, battery, literature, or packaging reminds you that all electrical
and electronic products and batteries must be taken to separate collection at the end of their working life. Do not
dispose of these products as unsorted municipal waste: take them for recycling. For info on your nearest recycling point,
check with your local waste authority, or go to www.microsoft.com/mobile/support/. For more info on the

Do not dispose of batteries in a fire as they may explode. Use the battery for its intended purpose only. Improper use,
or use of unapproved or incompatible batteries may present a risk of fire, explosion, or other hazard, and may invalidate
any approval or warranty. Never use a damaged battery.
Implanted medical devices
To avoid potential interference, manufacturers of implanted medical devices recommend a minimum separation of 15.3
centimetres (6 inches) between a wireless device and the medical device. Persons who have such devices should:
