In unfavorable conditions, such as intense sunshine, poorly reflecting target surface (black surface) or high temperature variations, the deviation over 10m of distance may increase. *During daylight or if the target has poor reflection properties, please use target plate. Operation on touch panel Slide left or right Slide left or right to exchange functions between: Continuous measurement, Pythagoras indirect measurement, Area measurement, Volume measurement Auto level,Auto height. Slide up or down Slide down to enter into setting menu, and click on icons to change relevant setting. Slide up to exit setting menu. Operating procedures Slide on the screen left or right to exchange measuring mode. The red side on the icon is to be measured. Continuous measurement The device goes to continuous measurement directly when it’s powered on, click on the screen or press the measuring button to hold the measurement, press the measuring button to measure again. *This function will be stopped automatically after 5 minutes of inactivity. Pythagorean Method-Two points Slide on the screen left or right to locate the Pythagorean Method-Two points icon press to take the first distance measurement . press to take the second distance(keep the instrument horizontal). The results of first length, second length and the height will be orderly displayed on the screen. Area measurement Slide on the screen to locate the area measurement icon , and press button to take the first distance measurement(e.g. Length). Press again to take the second distance measurement (e.g. width). The results of length, width, and area will be displayed in the display orderly. Auto level Slide on the screen to locate auto level icon and press measuring button to measure the length of Hypotenuse, then Hypotenuse, Vertical and horizontal distance will be displayed on the screen. Auto height Slide on the screen to locate auto height icon and press measuring button to measure the first distance. Press again, take the second distance. The results of first length, second length and the height will be orderly displayed on the screen. Error code All errors or failures will be shown as codes. Bluetooth wireless data transfer Operation on the device Click Bluetooth icon on the setting menu, when the icon lights up, it means Bluetooth is activated, and it flashes waiting for connection. Operation on App Open APP to enter scene measuring, press the Bluetooth button on up-right, then the Bluetooth will be turned on. Search for Bluetooth name of the instrument: , click and connect it. After connection, Bluetooth icon turns green, and the Bluetooth icon on the device stops flashing, users can remotely control the device. *As D520T do not have the function of data recording, the Import Records function in the APP can not be used. Bluetooth function can only work with the APP, Please download and install Mileseey APP in advance. APP name: “Mileseey iMeter”. Android users can download in the Android market or official website of Mileseey. Apple users can download and install directly in App Store. APP Operating environment requirements: Android platform: Android 4.3 and above version. The Bluetooth module need to be version 4.3 and above. iOS platform: applicable to the iPhone 4S and above, iPad 3 and above. APP name: “Mileseey iMeter”. Battery installation Open the battery cover, put two batteries into the compartment correctly according to the sign of positive and negative pole.
