Remote Control Product Information Intended Use The remote keypad is intended to be used with Mindray’s BeneView T series and BeneVision N series patient monitors. The user shall be responsible for ensuring the compatibility between the remote keypad and the monitoring devices by either referring to this instructions for use or contacting us before use. The remote keypad must be used by trained clinical personnel. Precautions RF013B-MR-001 Instructions For Use Check the remote keypad and accessories before use. Do not use the remote keypad in case of damage, block, deterioration or visible contamination. Disposal of the remote keypad and accessories shall comply with applicable regulations. Do not dispose randomly. No. 10 11 12 Warnings The remote keypad must be used by trained clinical personnel. The remote keypad is for indoor use only. Do not expose to moisture, liquid, or heat environment. Keep the keypad with special care af ter use to avoid unintended operation. 13 Key Name Enter Key Down Arrow Key Standby Key Start/Stop NIBP Key Description Enters a menu or confirms a selection. Moves the highlight bar down. Enters the standby mode. Starts an NIBP measurement or stops the current NIBP measuremet. Zero IBP Key Displays the Zero IBP menu. Manual Event Key Manually Triggers a event. Multifunction Mouse Key z When the mouse is inactivated, use this key to activate the mouse. z When the mouse is activated, use this key to locate the cursor. If you carry out no operations within one minute after activating the mouse, the mouse will be inactivated. Main Screen/Main Menu Key Backs to the main screen or main menu. Preparing the Patient Monitor (for BeneView T series patient monitors) The patient monitor shall be properly configured for the use of the remote keypad. Ask the authorized service personnel to perform the configuration. Overview of The Remote Keypad Note This operation needs password and is for authorized service personnel only. Do not configure it yourself. If the corresponding configuration item could not be found in the configuration menu, ask the authorized service personnel to upgrade the system software to the latest version first. Preparing the Remote Keypad Preparing the receiver 1. 2. 10 11 12 13 Open the battery compartment, and take the receiver out. Plug the receiver to the USB connector on the rear panel of the patient monitor. Note Do not plug the receiver to the USB connector on the BeneView T series patient monitor used for connecting iView system or external display, or to the USB connector on the BeneVision N series patient monitor used for connecting iView system. Installing battery Warnings ! 1. 2. Keep batteries away from heat, sunshine, or fire. Never discard batteries in fire. When the remote keypad is not used for long periods, remove the battery. Make sure that the patient monitor has been properly configured. The remote keypad is effective once the battery is installed. Keep the remote keypad with special care every time you finish your operation to avoid any unintended operation. Insert an AAA battery with correct polarity (+/-). Close the battery compartment.
