welcomeTheTalkyOnegetting startedhow to ...signalscaresupportsafety & disposalcertification & safety approvals glossary backglossaryA2DP is a Bluetooth profile that allows you to stream music in stereo quality from your mobile phone to your speakerphone.Bluetooth is a radio technology that connects devices, such as mobile phones and speakerphones, without wires or cables over a short distance (approx. 33 feet). Bluetooth is safe to use and secure, too. Once two Bluetooth devices have been paired, no one can listen in and no other Bluetooth devices can interfere.Get more information at www.bluetooth.comIdle (not paired) is the mode where your speakerphone is turned on but not paired to a Bluetooth-enabled mobile phone.LED is short for light-emitting diode and refers to the light indicator of your speakerphone that sends dierent red or blue signals depending on specific actions, events or modes.Multipont allows two mobile phones to be connected to your speakerphone. The first connected user is the main user, who can use all features. The second user can only use the basic functions, such as receiving calls.Pairing creates a unique and encrypted connection between two Bluetooth devices. Bluetooth devices will not work together if they have not been paired.Pass code or PIN is the code required to pair a Bluetooth device (e.g. a mobile phone) with your speakerphone.Standby is the mode where your speakerphone is turned on, paired and ready for outgoing or incoming calls. When a call is ended, the speakerphone automatically returns to standby mode.Software update allows you to change the software of your speakerphone. This should only be done if there are compatibility issues with your mobile device. Please check for more information on www.novero.com under services. Text-to-speech means that the speakerphone reads information aloud, such as the caller ID and important status. Text-to-speech is available in dierent languages.Voice dial means that you can dial a number by saying a name out loud, instead of entering a number manually or choosing it from the phone book. With speaker-independent voice recognition, no recording is required. The name can be spoken by anyone, and the phone will automatically match the spoken name with the closest name entered in the phone book.
