OPERATION
Pairing
Perform the following steps to pair your mobile device
with the speaker system. Note that two systems can be
linked, with one service as the Master and the other as the
Slave. Whichever system is paired to your device is the
Master and the other is the Slave. See the Linking section
below for instructions on linking two systems.
1.
Ensure that the POWER and the STANDBY/ON
switches are in the ON position.
2. Press and release the PAIR button. The BT source
LED will begin flashing, indicating that it is in pairing
mode.
3. Search for nearby Bluetooth® devices on your
mobile device. Select the Soundstage 3 entry. Once
pairing is complete, the BT source LED will cease
flashing and will remain steadily illuminated.
The system will remember its pairing and linking status,
even after power cycling. To reconnect your mobile
device, open the Bluetooth® settings and select Connect
to re-establish the connection.
Linking
Two systems can be linked so that one system is the
Master and the other the Slave. When two systems are
linked, the stereo audio signal will be split so that the
Master system plays left channel audio, while the Slave
system handles right channel audio. Perform the following
steps to link two systems.
1.
Ensure that you have paired your mobile device to
one of the systems. If audio is playing from your
Bluetooth® device, stop it and wait 5 seconds.
2. Press and release the TWS button on the rear panel
of each speaker. The TWS LEDs will begin flashing on
10
each speaker and a tone sequence will play while
the two systems search for each other.
3. Once the two systems are linked the TWS LEDs will
cease flashing and will illuminate steadily. You will
also hear a confirmation tone from both speakers.
If the connection is lost between the two speakers or
between the Master speaker and the source device, and
they do not reconnect automatically, power cycle both
speakers and allow them to reconnect.
Note that the PAIR button on the Slave speaker will be
disabled. If you press the PAIR button on the Slave
speaker, you will hear three rapid beeps, indicating that
the system cannot be paired.
Clearing Memory
To erase all previous pairings and linking settings, press
and hold either the PAIR or the TWS button for 3 seconds.
You will hear a long tone to confirm that the pairing and
linking settings have been erased. The LEDs will also turn
off. You can now establish a new pairing or link the
speakers again.
