A person or object within 8 inches (20 centimeters) of the antenna could impaircall quality and may cause the phone to operate at a higher power level than necessaryand expose that person to RF energy in excess of that established by the FCC RFExposure Guidelines.IMPORTANTThe telephone must be installed in a manner that provides a minimum separationdistance of 20 cm or more between the antenna and persons to satisfy FCC RFexposure requirements for mobile transmitting devices.Included in instructions to equipment installer:Antenna InstallationIMPORTANT:To comply with the FCC RF exposure limits and satisfy the categorical exclusionrequirements for mobile transmitters, the following requirements must be met:1. The approved tri-mode antenna is installed on the roof, and a minimumseparation distance of 20 cm must be maintained between the antenna and allpersons.2.
