Voice Dialing
Press the smart key to launch the voice dial
application from the idle display. To dial by
voice, you can either select Call name/command
and then say a recorded name (voice tag)
into the microphone, or select Dial number and
then directly say a phone number into the
microphone.
Setting Up Your Phonebook
Note: If you select Call name/command, it is available only for
the phone numbers saved on phone memory.
Note: If you select Dial number, you can dial phone
numbers simply by speaking the number continuously,
without pausing between the digits. The phone recognizes
the digits “one,” “two,” “three,” “four,” “five,” “six,” “seven,”
“eight,” “nine,” “zero,” and “oh.” The phone cannot
recognize numbers such as “1 eight hundred” for “1 800.”
Say “one eight zero zero” instead.
The voice dial application allows you pronounce English or
Chinese phone numbers into the microphone. Listed below
is the table of numbers vs. method of pronunciation:
