SSE 5000 Portable Radio Quick Guide6881094C16-OAccessory InstallationAntenna:•ATTACH: With the radio turned off, twist the antenna clock-wise onto the connector on the top of the radio.•REMOVE: With the radio turned off, twist the antenna counter-clockwise to remove it from the radio.Battery:•ATTACH: With the radio turned off, align the baseplate on the bottom of the radio with the groove on the top of the battery, and slide the battery toward the latch until it clicks into place.•REMOVE: With the radio turned off, slide the battery latch up and hold it while sliding the battery away from the latch.Belt Clip:•ATTACH: With the battery removed, hook the top of the belt clip into the slot near the top of the radio in the back. Press the bottom of the belt clip into the slot near the base of the radio until it clicks into place.•REMOVE: With the battery removed, use a small, flat-bladed screwdriver to disengage the locking tab on the bottom of the belt clip from the base of the radio. Lift the belt clip up and away from the radio.Location of antenna connector
