7004 Wireless Speaker Clock with Pen INSTRUCTIONS Features: Wireless Speaker Hands‐free Microphone function Auxiliary Line‐in Play Function Charging Cable Rechargeable Lithium Battery Analog Clock Metal Ink Pen Specifications: Speaker Power: 5 Watts Battery Capacity: 800mAh Wireless version: 4.1 Operating Distance: 30 Feet Charging Time: Approximately 2 hours Playback Time: Up to 3 hours (medium volume) Previous/Down Multifunction Microphone Next/Up Micro USB Port AUX Line‐In Jack Control Buttons MULTIFUNCTION BUTTON Power On: Press the MULTIFUNCTION button and hold for 2‐3 seconds until a tone is heard and the blue light flashes waiting to pair. Power Off: Press and hold the MULTIFUNCTION button for 3‐4 seconds until a double tone is heard and the light flashes goes out. Pause/Play: Press and release to pause the music and repeat to resume playing. Answer/End Call: Press and release to answer or end a call. ‐ PREVIOUS/DOWN: Press and hold to decrease the volume / Press and release for previous song. NEXT/UP: Press and hold to increase volume / Press and release for next song. Controls Next/Previous, Volume Up/Down, Pause/Play, Answer/End Call: You may also use the functions on your smart phone or music player to control these functions. MICROPHONE For use as a hands‐free speaker. It is a small hole located to the left of the MULTIFUNCTION button. Please Note: It is strongly recommended that you turn off the speaker while not in use. Charging Plug the charging cable into the Charging port of the speaker and then connect the USB end of the charging cable to the USB port of your PC or other USB power source. The red LED light will light up during charging. The light will go off when charging is complete. It is strongly recommended that the speaker be fully charged before first use and after long periods of inactivity. Do not overcharge the battery. Wireless Pairing Please check to make sure the device to which you are pairing has wireless capabilities. This can show up under the Bluetooth® setting on your smart phone or music player. This information should be included in your phone or device’s instructions or packaging. 1. Make sure that the speaker is turned off. 2. Place the speaker and the device in proximity so that both devices are in view. 3. Press and hold the MULTIFUNCTION button for 2‐3 seconds until speaker power is on. Blue LED lights will flash. When paired, a tone will sound and the light will turn solid. 4. If your music player asks for a pass code, enter the pass code 0000 and press OK to pair your speaker with the device. The speaker is now ready for listening to music or answering calls. Note: Some mobile phones or other devices may pair automatically when re‐started. Auxiliary Line‐In Mode (Plugging in a phone or music player) Plug one end of the provided 3.5mm AUX cable into the smart phone of music player’s headphone or speaker jack and plug the other end into the speaker. Operate the song selections and volume from the smart phone or other device. • Next / Previous and Pause / Play song function buttons are not available in AUX Line‐in Mode. (Use the phone’s controls.) • Speaker volume is available in this mode, but only controls the speaker volume, not the volume on the phone / music player. Phone Speaker Functions When a call comes in, the ring and voice indication will be heard through the speaker. 1. Answer: Press and release the MULTIFUNCTION button to answer the call. You may also answer through your phone. 2. Reject a Call: Press and hold the MULTIFUNCTION button for 2 seconds until you hear “call rejected”. You may also decline a call using your phone’s functions. 3. End a Call: Press and release the MULTIFUNCTION button during the call. You may also end the call using your phone’s functions. Precautions • Please only use the computer USB or the DC 5V power adaptor matching the Micro USB interface to charge. Only use quality cords and adaptors. • Please keep and use in normal environments. Exposure to extreme elements such as extreme heat and cold, fire, dust, excessive direct sunlight, or other extreme elements may damage the unit. Keep debris or other items from entering any of the ports. Do not clean with harsh chemicals. • Do not attempt to open, repair, or take apart the speaker. The speaker may be damaged during that process. • If the speaker quality seems lessened, or a slight popping noise is heard, it may be due to low battery. (Recharge) • This item is not meant for children. • Do not overcharge the battery. TROUBLESHOOTING No Sound • Make sure that the music player is working and that the speaker is charged. • Make sure the wireless is paired to this specific speaker and that the music player and speaker are within operating distance. (30 feet) Not charging • Check to make sure that you are using the correct cable and that it is fully plugged into both the device and the USB port that you are charging from. Also check to make sure the PC or other USB charger is turned on. FCC Statement This device complies with Part 15 of the FCC Rules.
