Even the best security labels don’t work when shoplifters hide stolen goods in a foil-lined bag or under a foil-lined
coat. Metal detection can be an effective counter measure. But cluttering up your entrance with yet another piece
of hardware is probably not what you had in mind. We offer the unique possibility to integrate a high performance
metal detection solution into our EAS antennas.
Metal detection is an online system upgrade for Dynamic Line EAS systems which can be installed by using remote
assistance.
In the conguration above, the PG27 / PG39 antennas can do both eas security and detection of foil lined bags and
/ or clothing. Both solutions are integrated into the antennas, so no additional hardware is needed in your store
entrance. The system gives a discreet “metal detection alarm” by using a pager signal for staff or security personnel.
The detection distance specifications remain, also for the metal detection solution.
