Preparing Your Phone
Inserting SIM Card
0“ Scratches can easily damage the metal
contacts ol the SIM card Pay special
attention as you handle and insert the
SIM card.
- Locate the SIM card slot in the battery
compartment of your phone.
Slide the entire SIM card into the slot With the
metal contacts ot the Sim card lacing down
and its beveled corner on the bottom right
Then slide back the metal stator to lock SlM
card in place.

Place the bottom end of the battery against
the base of the battery compartment
Press the too otlhe battery downwards until
it clicks into the compartment.
Removing Battery
Do not remove the battery while your phone
is ON You may lose all your personal settings

Security Passwords
-PIN Code
The PIN (Personal ldentitication Number) code
protects your Sim Card against unauthorized
use it is normally supplied With the SIM card
package When it is activated. your phone Will
request you to enter PlN code every time it is
switched ON When it is deactivated. your
phone will connect to the network directly
without asking for the PIN code. Be carelul
while entering PIN codes wrong tries in
entering Pin code Will block it and the SIM
from use
-PIN2 Code
The PINZ code supplied With some SIM cards
is required to access some lunctions such as
Advice oi Call Charges and Fixed Dialing
These functlons are available only iisupported
by your SIM card
-FUK Code
The PUK (Personal Unblocklng Key) code is
required to unblock a blocked PIN code it is
normally supplied with the SIM package,
othenrvrse contact your servrce provider for the
code. Keep your PUK code rn a sate piace.

The Phone Code is a securrty code that

1. Press and hold down the fi key to turn
on your phone. Once switched ON. the

m 18 Menu structure
Phone Book
You can create a personal phonebook by
saving phone numbers and names (contacts)
in both or either phone or SlM memory it is
much easier to recall names or numbers from
phone book than remembering and dialing
someones phone number every time you
want to make a call. Move the cursor to the
Phone Book icon in Main menu and press the
key (Select) or press "a" in the Main
menu to enter Phone Book menu. Press the
key (Options) tor Contacts Menu to
access sub-menus
When your phone displays contacts stored in
your SIM. it is using and accessing the SIM
memory and is indicated by a SlM card icon
on top of the screen. oh the other hand. when
it displays contacts stored in your phone, it is
using and accessing the phone memory, and
is indicated oya phone icon on top oithe screen.
Add Phone/stM Contacts
l.Access the Contacts Menu by pressing the
Q key (Options). select Add Phone Contact
it you want to save the contact in phone
memory, or select Go to SIM List then Add SIM
Contact it you want to save to SIM memory.
2 tn the Add Contacts menu, select by moving
to each field and press modify Enter required
data (all tields With a star are required), select
OK. and then Save.
For every saved record. selecting it in the
Phone Book menu Will allow you to:
- Call: Dial the number directly
- Modify Contact: Change or modity the fields
- Send Message: Create and send a message.
- Send By: Send the contact into to another
numbervia SMS or MMS
- Copy to SlM/Mooile: Copy the record to
SlM or Phone memory
- Delete: Deleted the record trom memory
Own Number
Use this menu to create and maintain records
of your own phone numbers.
Phone Book 19 m
Mailing List
Allow you to create groups to whom you can
send SMS or MMS to all members where you
do not have to enter each contact number
when sending
Memory
Checks and displays memory usage status
or the SlM card and phone
Delete All
Allows user to delete all records in either stM
or phone memory
Back upto SIM
Allows you to copy your contacts from your
phone to your stM card
