Message
ityour network supports and you have
subscribed to messaging services such as the
SMS (Short Messaging Services) or MMS
(Multimedia Messaging Services). you will be
able to send. save and receive messages to
and trom other compatible mobile phones.
The memory capacity ct incoming and outgoing
messages depends on the SiM memory
capacity. The phone memory can store up to
too SMS messages. while MMS messages
capacity depends on the size oi MMS messages
you saved. itthe storage capacity is lull. the
message icon flashes and you will not be able
to receive or save any new messages
Use the Up/Down navigation keys to scroll
through the menu options. the key to
select an option. the key to go back one
step.
Write Messages
Select Write Messages irom the Messages
menu.

Select SMS mm the Write Messages menu
You will be able to compose text messages.
Short press the Ekey to shltt between input
methods; long press the E key to shitt
between lower and upper case; short press
the key to access the symbols table. use
the navigation keys to o to the desired
symbol, and press the key (OK) to insert
the symbol Press the Q key (Options)
during or atter composing the message Will
allow you to:
~ Send: Send the message by entering the
recipient number You Will have options to
directly send. add another recipient; delete
a recipient; edit a number; Send options or
save the message to SiM or phone
- ABC Mode: Select letter input.
~ 19 Mode: Select predictive T9 text input
- Save: Save the message to SIM or phone
memory.
~ Cancel: Quit composing message

~ Formatting: Format and enrich text to
styles. upper case. and alignments

support GPRS. Select MMS trom the Write
Messages menu You will be able to compose
multimedia messages Press the key
(Options) during or alter composing the

subtect; edit a number; or save the message
to SIM or phone. in its Send Options menu
you can also set Message Validity. Reouest
Delivery Report. set Priority. set Early
Delivery Time.

This menu stores the text messages that you
have received. When you receive a message
the message icon appears on your
telephone screen. ityou do not read the
messages. this icon remains displaying on the
screen When it hashes. the memory is full
Once you entered this menu. you can see the
received message Each message shows the
presence of any attachments. the time and
date the message was received
lcohs are used to describe the type ot
messages (Multimedia. SMS/EMS and so on).
Messages are listed in chronological order, the
latest one being displayed first. Scroll to the
desired message by using the Up/Down
navigation keys While viewing a message,
you can choose the tollowmg options
