Upon switching on, a red dot is visible throughthe eyepiece and this can be adjusted for brightness. A coarse then a finealignment is carried using the red dot.The red dot is aimed towards the centre of the far-end radio and the mountingassembly is aligned accordingly. During the course of alignment, appropriatescrews are tightened to lock the mounting assembly in the aligned position.When satisfied that alignment is complete, the optical alignment tool is switchedoff and removed from the MetroHopper mounting assembly. Push the contacts into the connector in their correct positions.It is veryimportant that the contacts are in the correct order in the connector.7.
