Introduction
Thank you for purchasing our Bluetooth Headset H3.
The Bluetooth Headset H3 is a high-tech wireless
headset for handsfree operations at its best. It can be
connected to any Bluetooth device that supports
Headset or Handsfree profile. With soft finger-like grip
mechanism that holds the headset firm against the ear
wall, the H3 is convenient to wear and stays
comfortable even when used for long hours. With its
light and elegantly designed architecture, you can now
walk the streets with confidence while enjoying
handsfree.
Safety Instructions
Check the laws and regulations on the use of
mobile phones and handsfree equipments in areas
you intend to use.
Long usage of headset at high volume may cause
hearing defects.
When cleaning the device, do not use any type of
abrasive pad, scouring powder or solvents as
these may render the finish dull permanently.
Charge the battery for at least 2 hours before using.
Do not use in places like hospitals, airplanes etc.
where use of electronic devices is prohibited.
Do not expose components to extremes of sunlight,
temperature, moisture or vibrations.
Keep headset and charger cradle away from reach
of children.
Do not place metal objects such as coin or
necklace on charger cradle contacts as this may
cause short circuit with risk of fire or explosion.
Risk of explosion if battery is replaced by an
incorrect type. Dispose of used battery according
to the instructions.

What’s Included in the Package
Charging the H3 Battery
Before using the headset, charge the battery for at
least 2 hours.
To charge, first connect the charger cradle with
USB AC/DC charger adapter and then plug the
cord into power supply. Mount headset onto cradle
and push down until the headset gets locked with
red LED on.
During charging, headset LED will light up red and
when fully charged, it will change to blue.

Pairing H3 with Bluetooth Device
Wearing the H3
To put H3 in pairing mode, in power off state, click
and hold MFB continuously until LED will changes
to alternating red and blue flash. Pairing mode
lasts for 3 minutes, after this period H3 returns to
standby mode.
The headset can be worn on left or right ear. Select
any one of the two rubber gels that fit your ear
secure and comfortably.
Place the headset in the ear such that the rubber
gel holds the headset against the ear wall and
stays comfortably.
From a Bluetooth device, search for devices and
establish the connection. If prompted for pinkey,
enter ‘0000’ which is the pinkey for H3. When
connected, the LED will turn OFF.
Switching the H3 ON/OFF
To switch on H3, click and hold MFB until Headset
LED lights up blue and change to periodic flashing
blue.
To switch off H3, click and hold MFB until Headset
LED lights up red and then turn OFF.
When not using the headset, you can connect the
headset to clip attached to lanyard.

Using H3 for Handsfree Operations
Answer Call
z On an incoming call, bell will ring from both phone
and headset. Short click MFB to answer call.
Make Call
z To make a call, first dial from phone and short click
MFB to switch call to headset. Notes: For some
phones, after dialing from phone, call will
automatically be transferred to headset.
Redial
z To redial, double click MFB in idle state.
Notes: For some phones, when MFB is double
clicked, it first displays the numbers last called or
received. In this case, double click MFB again to
redial. Some phones allow direct redialing by
double clicking MFB just once.
Voice Dial
z Make sure your phone supports voice dialing and
that it is activated and voice tags have been
recorded. To voice dial, long click MFB in idle
handsfree mode. Follow the instruction message
from phone to complete voice dialing.
Volume Control
z Short click (+) or (-) to adjust volume during
handsfree mode. Beep tones will be heard at
maximum or minimum volume.
End Call
z To end call first, short click MFB during ‘Talk Mode’.
If other party ends the call first, H3 automatically
returns to handsfree standby mode.
Reject Call
z To reject incoming call, long click MFB.
Call Transfer
z During ‘Talk’ mode, to transfer call from headset to
phone, long click MFB. To transfer call from phone
to headset, short click MFB. You can also use your
phone’s Bluetooth Hotkey to transfer call if such
key is available.
Call Waiting
z To answer second call while in ‘Talk’ mode, short
click MFB. To reject call, long click MFB. To switch
from second call to first call and vice versa, short
click MFB. To end current call, long click MFB.

Note : This function can only be used if user has
subscribed for such service.
Microphone Mute
z For privacy reasons, if you don’t want your voice to
be transmitted to the other party, you can mute the
microphone by long clicking (+) and (-) buttons
together during talk mode. To cancel mute function,
long click (+) and (-) buttons together.
Reconnect
z To reconnect headset with phone, short click MFB
twice.
Multi-Connection
z H3 can be connected to 2 devices at the same
time. To establish multi-connection, pair H3 with
the 2 devices one at a time. During multiconnection, if any of the two devices is in use, the
connection with the other device will automatically
be disconnected and when call is ended,
connection with the disconnected device will be reestablished.

Product Warranty
* OpenBrain Technologies warrants this product against all defects in
material and workmanship for a period of one year from the date of
purchase by end user. The conditions for warranty are as follows:
The warranty is valid only if the original receipt issued to the original
purchaser by the dealer is presented with the product to be repaired
or replaced.
The warranty is void if the serial number, date of purchase and
product label had been removed.
The warranty does not cover any failure or damage of the product
due to normal wear and tear, physical abuse, improper installation,
misuse, modification or repairs by unauthorized third parties.
OpenBrain Technologies does not assume responsibility for any loss
or damage incurred during shipment and as a result of force majeure.
OpenBrain Technologies is not liable for any incidental or
consequential damages arising from the use or misuse of the product.
All warranty claims are limited to repair or replacement of the
defective product at the sole discretion of OpenBrain Technologies.
If OpenBrain Technologies repairs or replaces the product, the
repaired or replaced product shall be warranted for the remaining
time of the original warranty period. Repair or replacement may
involve the use of functionally equivalent reconditioned units.
Replaced part or product becomes the property of OpenBrain
Technologies.
Consumable components, such as batteries, are not included in the
warranty obligation.
