Thank you for purchasing the OSIM uCrown 3. Before you start using the uCrown 3, please
read the operation manual thoroughly for the correct methods of usage, paying special
attention to the section on safety.
This manual should be kept on hand for easy reference. It is your guide to a safe and efficient
operation.

Usage safety
• Do not use the product when your hair or
body is wet or operate with wet hands.
The suggested usage duration is
10 minutes. Ensure that the product rests
for 10 minutes before it is being used again.
• The product has a heated surface. Users
insensitive to heat must be careful when
using the product.
• The user is advised to keep the audio
volume at a reasonable level. Continued
usage at a high volume can lead to
permanent hearing damage.
• Do not sit, stand or exert pressure on the
product as this may damage the product.
• Do not use the product while lying down.
• Do not use the product if you have an eye
or head operation recently.
• Do not wear spectacles or contact lenses
while using the product.
• Do not use the product while driving a car.
• Do not use the product other than for its
stated purpose.
Stop using upon detection of any
malfunction during operation.
Stop using immediately and consult
your doctor should you experience any
discomfort or any abnormal or severe pain.
If you are under medication or with
medical conditions, please consult your
doctor before use.
Please do not use the product if you are
not feeling well or under the influence of
alcohol.
The product is not intended for self-
diagnosis or self-treatment for conditions
that should be managed by a qualified
health care provider.
This product is not intended for use by
persons (including children) with reduced
physical, sensory or mental capabilities,
or lack of experience and knowledge,
unless they have been given supervision or
instruction concerning use of the product
by a person responsible for their safety.
Children should be supervised by an adult
to ensure that they do not play with the

Preparation before use
Battery installation
1. Open the battery compartment cover at
the back of the uCrown 3 and remote
control.
2. Insert 4x 1.5V AA batteries into the
uCrown 3 head unit.
3. Insert 2x 1.5V AAA batteries into the
remote control.
4. Please ensure that the (+) and (-)
polarities of the batteries are fitted
correctly.
5. Close the battery cover once the
batteries have been properly inserted.
Note
• Remove batteries from the battery
compartment when the uCrown 3 is not
in use for a long time so as to prevent
any battery leakage.

Preparation before use
Putting on uCrown 3
1. Put on the uCrown 3 on your head as
illustrated below. Ensure that the uCrown 3
does not cover your eyes.
2. Adjust to a comfortable position by turning
the adjustable knob at the top and back of
the uCrown 3.

• Please remove your spectacles before
using the uCrown 3 as it may cause
discomfort during use.
• Please ensure that the airbags are
deflated before putting on the uCrown 3.
If airbags stop inflating halfway, please
change to fresh batteries and switch on
the uCrown 3.

Turn ON the uCrown 3
Turn ON the uCrown 3 by sliding up the
main switch to ‘On’ at the back of the
head unit to start auto massage program 1.
Press and hold the ‘Power/Stop’ button
[ ] on the remote control for more
selections.
Turn OFF the uCrown 3
At any time during operation, press and
hold the ‘Power/Stop’ button [ ] on
the remote control for 3 seconds to end
massage program.
Turn OFF the uCrown 3 by sliding down
the main switch to ‘Off’ at the back of
the head unit.
Note
• If there is no activity after 3 minutes, the
head unit will go into sleep mode when the
main switch is ‘ON’.
• Slide down to ‘Off’, then slide up to ‘On’ to
reset the uCrown 3.

Auto massage programs
Press the ‘Auto massage program’ button
[ ] on the remote control to select from
3 auto massage programs. Each auto
massage program comes with a different
music track.
Auto massage program 1 (Relax)
features airbag massage and heat. The
[ ] and [ ] LED indicators on the remote
control will light up.
Auto massage program 2 (Balance) is a
combination of airbag massage, heat and
vibration massage. The [ ] , [ ] and
[ ] LED indicators on the remote control
will light up.
Auto massage program 3 (Energize)
is a combination of airbag massage and
vibration massage. The [ ] and [ ]
LED indicators on the remote control will
light up.
Auto massage program adjustments
Airbag intensity:
During all massage programs, you can
adjust the airbag massage intensity
to ‘High’ or ‘Low’ by pressing the ‘Air
massage’ button [ ].
By default, the airbag massage will be
at ‘Low’ intensity. The LED indicator will
emit a constant red light.
Press the ‘Air massage’ button [ ] once
to switch the airbag massage intensity
to ‘High’. The LED indicator will emit a
blinking red light.
Press the ‘Air massage’ button [ ] again
to switch off the air massage. The LED
light will not illuminate.
Press the ‘Air massage’ button [ ] again
to return to ‘Low’ intensity and repeat
the toggling cycle.
On/Off heat function:
During Auto massage programs 1 and 2,
you can ‘On’ or ‘Off’ the heat function
by pressing the ‘Heat function’ button
[ ].
By default, the ‘Heat function’ button
[ ] will be ‘On’. The LED indicator will
emit a constant red light.
Press the ‘Heat function’ button [ ]
once to ‘Off’ the heat function. The LED
indicator will not illuminate.
Press the ‘Heat function’ button [ ]
again to return to ‘On’ and repeat the
toggling cycle.

• Keep each massage session to no longer
than 10 minutes.
• In the event that the airbags do not deflate,
press the ‘Air release’ [ ] button to
release the air.
Auto massage program adjustments
On/Off vibration:
During Auto massage programs 2 and
3, you can ‘On’ or ‘Off’ the vibration
massage by pressing the ‘Vibration
massage’ button [ ].
By default, the ‘Vibration massage’
button [ ] will be ‘On’. The LED
indicator will emit a constant red light.
Press the ‘Vibration massage’ button
[ ] once to ‘Off’ the vibration. The LED
indicator will not illuminate.
Press the ‘Vibration massage’ button
[ ] again to return to ‘On’ and repeat
the toggling cycle.
Music volume:
The uCrown 3 comes with 3 different
music tracks for each auto massage
program.
By default, the volume is set at level 4.
Press the ‘Volume’ buttons [ ] / [ ] to
adjust the volume (levels 0 to 8).
Press and hold the [ ] button for 3
seconds to mute the music. To unmute,
press the [ ] button and the music will
resume at level 1.

Product care and storage
Product placement and storage
Environmental factors can strongly affect the product physically and mechanically.
Do not expose the product to direct sunlight or places with extreme heat or
air-conditioning vents. These can cause the product to crack or the color to fade.
If the product is not going to be used for a long period of time, cover it with a dust
cover and remove all the batteries from the battery compartment.
Clean the product regularly using a dry cloth
Before cleaning, ensure that the product is turned off and the batteries are removed.
The main unit structure can be cleaned thoroughly with a piece of soft, dry cloth.
Common micro-fibre cleaning materials or gloves are very well suited for this routine
maintenance process. Such materials and gloves are available for sale at most DIY
shops.
Do NOT use wet elements for cleaning
The product is made up of electrical components and mechanical parts, which are
very sensitive to moisture. Under no circumstances should they be exposed to any
form of water or moisture. If you use water (eg. a wet cloth) to clean the casing, the
coating may be eroded and the protection for the product will be diminished.
Do not use a wet cloth to clean the main switch or the remote control overlay. This
may result in malfunction.
Do NOT use cleaning solvents and abrasive cleaners
Under no circumstances should you use any cleaning agents, like benzene or thinner
to clean the product.
Do NOT attempt to repair your product
For safety reasons, under no circumstances should you attempt to repair the product.
If you suspect a malfunction, always call the OSIM Service Center for further
assistance and information.

If you encounter problems with the operation of the uCrown 3, please check the following points for
rectification. If the problem persists, please switch off the uCrown 3 and remove the batteries from
the battery compartment. Contact the OSIM Service Center* for servicing.
Do not dismantle or attempt to repair the uCrown 3 yourself. Doing so will void the
warranty and OSIM will not bear any responsibility for any subsequent consequences.
Possible causes/ActionProblem
The uCrown 3 will not start.

Product warranty is valid only in the country of purchase.
Troubleshooting
Check and replace with new batteries if power is weak.
Ensure the polarities of batteries are correct.
Ensure the batteries are firmly affixed in the battery
compartment.
The sound is the result of the mechanical structure
and is not a malfunction.
The head unit may have entered sleep mode after
3 minutes of inactivity. Turn ‘Off’ the main switch and
‘On’ again to reset the uCrown 3.
The auto timer function of 10 minutes may have
lapsed.
Check and replace with new batteries if power is weak.
Check that the earphones are properly inserted into
the earphone jack.
The music may be in mute or the volume is at the
minimal level. Press the [ ] button to increase the
sound level.
The massage programs
cannot be selected.
The massage stops midway.
No sound can be heard from
earphones or speakers.
Motor sound during operation.
