Page 2MRX-4SEN SENSOR EXTENDERFront, Rear, and Bottom Panel DescriptionsFront PanelThe front panel consists of 3 indicator lights: Power LED: The Power LED illuminates when the unit is powered.Status LED: The Status LED color will vary depending upon itsconnected state: ●Connected: Illuminates green ●Low Signal: Illuminates orange ●Not Connected: Not illuminatedData LED: The Data LED flashes as the MRX-4SEN transmits data toa MRX Advanced Network System Controller.

Page 4MRX-4SEN SENSOR EXTENDERBottom PanelThe bottom panel consists of:MAC Address Sticker: The MAC Address (16 characters) identifies thiswireless device when connected to the network.Serial Number Sticker: The serial number, located at the bottom of theunit, uniquely identifies the product.Test button: Press to test the signal strength between the MRXAdvanced Network System Controller and the MRX-4SEN. Whiletesting, the Status LED will update and display its current connectionsetting. (Refer to page 2 for Status LED information.)Reset button: Turns the unit OFF then ON again, and reconnects tothe URC 2.4GHz RF signal.
Page 5Network InstallationWARNING!! Before proceeding, a Custom Professional is requiredto install and configure your MRX-4SEN. Connect the 3.5mm sensor plug to the rear of the MRX-4SEN. Whena change is sensor is detected, the MRX-4SEN sends a signal to theMRX Advanced Network System Controller and triggers a series ofcommands.The example below showcases a voltage sensor connected to thehome’s front door and the MRX-4SEN. Whenever the door bell ispressed, a signal is sent over URC’s RF 2.4GHz to the MRXAdvanced Network System Controller. The MRX unit, previouslyprogrammed by the Custom Professional, will trigger a series ofcommands or an event to gain your attention. A programmedevent, such as Watch Movie/TV, may pause the movie, mute theaudio and display the front door’s video camera. MRX-4SEN SENSOR EXTENDER

Universal Remote Control will, at its sole option, repair theproduct using new or comparable rebuilt parts, or exchange the productfor a comparable new or rebuilt product. In the event of a defect, theseare your exclusive remedies.This Limited Warranty covers only the hardware components packagedwith the Product. It does not cover technical assistance for hardware orsoftware usage and it does not cover any software products whether ornot contained in the Product; any such software is provided "AS IS" unlessexpressly provided for in any enclosed software Limited Warranty.
