SMART LANTERN
HARDWARE SETUP
1Remove the battery pack from the base of the lantern by
squeezing the side clips and insert four (4) D cell batteries
(batteries not included).
Slide the battery pack back into the base of the lantern
until you hear the side clips snap into place.
2Press the power button once to turn on the lantern.
Press the power button again to cycle through the High,
Medium, Low, Flash, S.O.S. and Standby modes.
Press and hold the power button continuously for 3
seconds to completely power off the lantern.

by scanning this QR code, or by visiting http://o2tech.co on
your smartphone.

CONNECT THE LANTERN TO YOUR PHONE
4Press the power button once to ensure the lantern is
turned on. The logo on the power button will glow white
when the lantern is on, or in standby mode.
Standby mode allows the lantern to remain connected to
your app while no light is on.
5On your iPhone or Android device, go to your device’s
Settings screen and tap on Bluetooth. In the Bluetooth
screen, make sure Bluetooth has been switched on.
It’s best to place your lantern close to your iPhone or
Android device when Þrst connecting.
6Open the O2Tech Smart Lantern app and follow the
instructions to connect to your lantern.
You can control up to Þve lanterns at once from the same
app. Any settings you change such as brightness or color
will apply to all lanterns at once.

BATTERY WARNING
Frequent attempts to connect to the O2Tech Smart Lantern while not in use by
Bluetooth apps may drain the lantern's battery pack. Please remove the battery
pack from your O2Tech Smart Lantern while not in use.
