These limits are designed to provide reasonable protection against harmful interference in a residential installation. This equipment generates, uses and can radiate radio frequency energy and, if not installed and used in accordance with the instructions, may cause harmful interference to radio communications. Remove the battery pack from the base of the lantern by squeezing the side clips and insert four (4) D cell batteries (batteries not included). Slide the battery pack back into the base of the lantern until you hear the side clips snap into place. Press the power button once to turn on the lantern. Press the power button again to cycle through the High, Medium, Low, Flash, S.O.S. and Standby modes. Press and hold the power button continuously for 3 seconds to completely power off the lantern. The radiated output power of the device is far below the FCC radio frequency exposure limits. Nevertheless, the device shall be used in such a manner that the potential for human contact during normal operation is minimized. The logo on the power button will glow white when the lantern is on, or in standby mode. B AT T E R Y WA R N I N G Frequent attempts to connect to the O2Tech Smart Lantern while not in use by Bluetooth apps may drain the lantern's battery pack. Please remove the battery pack from your O2Tech Smart Lantern while not in use. Standby mode allows the lantern to remain connected to your app while no light is on. On your iPhone or Android device, go to your device’s Settings screen and tap on Bluetooth. In the Bluetooth screen, make sure Bluetooth has been switched on. It’s best to place your lantern close to your iPhone or Android device when Þrst connecting. Open the O2Tech Smart Lantern app and follow the instructions to connect to your lantern.
