The RFM100 modular radio cannot be used as a standalone device and will not be sold to any parties.  The RFM100 modular radio is installed inside host devices by mating its connectors to connectors on the board of host devices.   Federal Communication Commission Declaration of Conformity Statement  This device complies with Part 15 Rules. Operation is subject to the following two conditions:  1.  This device may not cause harmful interence, and 2.  This device must accept accept any interference received, including interference that may cause undesired operation.  This equipment has been tested and found to comply with the limits for a Class B digital device, pursuant to Part 15 of the FCC Rules. These limits are designed to provide reasonable protection against harmful interference in a residential installation. This equipment generates, uses and can radiate radio frequency energy and, if not installed and used in accordance with the instructions, may cause harmful interference to radio communications. However, there is no guarantee that interference will not occur in a particular installation.  If this equipment does cause harmful interference to radio or television reception, which can be determined by turning the equipment off and on, the user is encouraged to try to correct the interference by one or more of the following measures:  •         Reorient or relocate the receiving antenna. •         Increase the separation between the equipment and receiver. •         Connect the equipment into an outlet on a circuit different from that            to which the receiver is connected. •         Consult the dealer or an experienced radio/TV technician for help.”   Warning: Changes or modifications to this device not expressly approved by Onity could void the user’s authority to operate the equipment.

RF Exposure Safety Information  In accordance with FCC requirements of human exposure to radio frequency fields, the radiating element shall be installed such that a minimum separation distance of 20cm is maintained between it and the user or general population.  Proper use of this radio in accordance to the following guidelines will result in RF exposure that is below the FCC recommended limits.  1.  Do not hold any component containing the modular radio such that the it is very close to or touching any exposed parts of the body, especially the face or eyes, while operating.   2.  When using any component containing the modular radio, maintain a minimum distance of 7.9 inches or 20cm or more from the body of all persons.  3.  Only operate the modular radio in the following Onity host devices:   Wireless DDC Thermostat(WDDC), Door Switch Transmitter(RFDSW), and PIR Motion Sensor(RFPIR).
