CONGRATULATIONS
on your deTAGtive TAG. This document
guides you through the rst steps, from
installing the app over mounting to
calibrating the TAG.
1 | App Installation
You can fi nd the app by searching
for “deTAGtive logistics” in the
app store of your smartphone or
tablet. Further details and notes
how to use t he app are available at
www.detagtive.com.
2 | Identify TAG

For detection, place the TAG on
your smartphone or tablet

Scan QR code of the TAG
(may require the installation
of an additional app)
3 | Put TAG into operation

Select the identifi ed TAG
or an unused TAG from the list

Confi gure basic settings
5 | Calibrate TAG
(TAG2 / TAG3 only)
After mounting, perform the calibra-
tion function of the TAG in the app.
Warranty
You get a 2 year warranty for the
TAG. During the warranty period
we will rectify any defects that are
due to faulty material or workman-
ship by replacing or repairing the
defective part at our discretion.
Disposal
In accordance with European
Directive 2002/96/EC all electrical
and electronic appliances must be
disposed of separately via local
collection points. Please follow the
local regulations and do not dispose
of your old appliances with normal
household waste.
Garantie
Sie erhalten 2 Jahre Garantie auf
den TAG. Während der Garantiezeit
beseitigen wir etwaige Mängel, die
nachweislich auf Material- oder
Fabrikationsfehler beruhen, nach
unserer Wahl durch Austausch oder
Nachbesserung der defekten Teile.
Entsorgung
Gemäß der europäischen Richtlinie
2002/96/EC müssen alle elektri-
schen und elektronischen Geräte
über lokale Sammelstellen getrennt
entsorgt werden. Bitte beachten Sie
die lokalen Vorschriften und entsor-
gen Sie Ihre Altgeräte nicht mit dem
normalen Hausmüll.
4 | Mount TAG
Preferred mounting position
is upright, drill holes accordingly:
Ø 3.1 mm for blind rivets 3mm
Ø 3.5 mm for screwing with M3
screw and nut
Ø 2.5 mm for M3 screw thread
Choose protected, stable and
fl at mounting surface to prevent
unwanted loos of the TAG
Mount TAG in a way that it can
absorb the same temperature as
the monitored object (TAG2/TAG3
only)
Step 3
Assign a profi le or adjust individual
thresholds
Step 4
Confi rm settings. The TAG is now
ready for use.

Anleitung begleiten wir Sie bei Ihren
ersten Schritten von der Installation
der App, über die Montage bis hin zur
Kalibrierung des TAGs.
1 | Installation der App
Sie fi nden die App mit dem Such-
begriff „deTAGtive logistics“ im App
Store Ihres Smartphones oder Tab-
lets. Weitere Details sowie Hinweise
zur Benutzung der App erhalten Sie
auf www.detagtive.com.

Nach Befestigung die Kalibrierungs-
funktion des TAGs in der App

4 | TAG befestigen
Empfohlene Einbauposition hoch-
kant, Bohrlöcher entsprechend:
Ø 3.1 mm für Blindnieten mit 3mm
Ø 3.5 mm bei Verschrauben mit M3
Schraube und Mutter
Ø 2.5 mm für Gewinde M3
Geschützte, stabile und ebene
Montagefl äche wählen,
um ungewolltes Lösen des TAGs
zu vermeiden
TAG so befestigen, dass er
dieselbe Temperatur aufnehmen
kann, wie das zu überwachende
Objekt (nur TAG2/TAG3).
Schritt 3
Profi l zuweisen oder Schwellwerte
individuell anpassen
Schritt 4
Einstellungen bestätigen.
Der TAG ist jetzt betriebsbereit.
