Powering the Amigo eZync
To power the Amigo eZync, plug in the power supply (see picture) and connect it to the
wall outlet.
The Amigo eZync has a battery back-up that will last for up to  hours. It will automati-
cally switch to battery power when the mains power is disconnected, and vice versa.
The back-up battery may take several hours to
charge when the Amigo eZync is powered for
the first time. The battery charges continuously
whenever the Amigo eZync is plugged in.
NOTE
The battery cannot be replaced by
the user. The Amigo eZync cannot
be opened without damaging it.

Where to place the Amigo eZync
The Amigo eZync has a synchronisation range
of approximately 1.5 metres. To ensure that the
synchronisation commands actually reach the
Amigo ear-level receivers, it is important to
position the unit optimally.
The best location is close to the door or in the
corridor just outside the classroom. Then you
can be absolutely certain that all receivers will
be continuously synchronised and on the right
channel.
NOTE
The Amigo eZync will automatically synchronise all Amigo ear-level receivers within
range and in all directions (360°). Synchronisation can also take place through walls.
NOTE
It the wall outlet is located too far
away from the Amigo eZync, the
extension power cable can be used.

Amigo eZync can be mounted lower than the recommended 1.5 meters.
NOTE
When installing the wall mount, note that the fasteners must not be over-tightened,
as this bend it out of shape.
