Confirming theusage areaWireless communicationrangeThe wireless communication range ofeach device in the system from the hubis approximately 50 m (160 feet)indoors and approximately 300 m(1,000 feet) outdoors. Wall mountingThere are two methods for wallmounting the sensor. To mount thesensor flat against the wall, use therear cover. Testing the glassbreak sensorAfter you have installed the [HomeNetwork] app on your mobile device,you can use your mobile device to testthe glass break sensor. For moreinformation, refer to the User’s Guide(page 14).1Start the [Home Network], andtap [Settings].2Tap [Device Registration] andselect [Device Profiles].3Tap [Glass Break Sensor] andselect [Detection Test].4Place your mobile device near thesensor and tap [Play].RYour mobile device plays backthe sound of glass breaking.5Confirm that the sensor’s LEDindicator light in red to indicate thatit has detected the sound ofbreaking glass.6Tap [OK] when finished.Adjusting the sensorsensitivityYou can use the MHIGHN/MLOWN switch(page 8) to adjust the sensor’ssensitivity.Set it to MLOWN if the sensor frequentlymakes false detections.Features availablewhen using the[Home Network] appSome of the sensor’s features that areavailable when using the [HomeNetwork] app are listed below.
