Battery saving mode settingThis feature allows the base unit to reduce thepower consumption by limitting the availablefunctions and extend the battery life during apower failure.The following settings are available:–“On” : The unit will work as a standardtelephone and landline calls can be availablewith the corded handset only to save batterypower consumption. Baby monitorThis feature allows you to listen in on a roomwhere another handset is located, allowing you toeasily monitor from different areas of the house orplace. The monitored handset (placed in a baby’sroom, for example) will automatically call themonitoring handset, base unit, or the phonenumber stored when it detects sound.Important:RYou should perform a test run of the babymonitor procedure to ensure that the babymonitor feature is set correctly. For example,test its sensitivity.
