INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Disconnect power to circuit by removing fuse or turn circuit breaker OFF
before installing. Before wiring, verify that power has been removed by
testing with a circuit tester at the outlet box.
2. To replace existing device, remove wall plate and pull device from box.
If new installation, skip to step 5.
3. Label wires connected to existing device.
4. Disconnect existing power.
5. Strip wires to length 1/2" using gauge located on back of the device.
Use #14 - #10 AWG solid or stranded copper wire.
6. Install device per corresponding wiring diagram, see Figure 1.
7. Torque terminal screws to 12-14 inch-pounds.
8. Mount device to the wall box, ensure “UP” arrows are oriented properly.
9. Snap wall plate with integral wireless charger to device and restore
power to circuit.

• To prevent severe shock or electrocution, always turn power
OFF at the service panel before working with wiring.
• Use this device with copper or copper-clad wire. Do not use with
aluminum wire.
• Must be installed in accordance with National and Local
electrical codes.
• All cables should be routed away from the outlet openings.
• Outlets are not intended to support devices or appliances.
Do not hang devices by charging cord.

DESCRIPTION: This device is a radiant® Duplex Receptacle with USB charger along with a Wireless
charging Wall Plate. The USB provides 3.1A total DC power at 5 Volts for charging USB devices and
supplies power to the wireless charger. The USB port is for charging purpose only and is not intended for
data transfer. The wireless charger works with all phones equipped with a Qi receiver.
Qi STANDARD:
• Qi (pronounced “chee”) is the global standard for
compatible wireless charging.
• Just like Bluetooth® set the standard for
exchanging data over short distances or Wi-Fi™
set the standard for wireless networking, Qi sets
the standard for wireless charging.
• To charge, you just place a Qi-enabled device on
a Qi charging surface, there are no cords to plug
into the phone.

HOW Qi WORKS:
• Qi works by generating a safe electromagnetic
field between a charger and a device through a
well-established process called magnetic induction.
Magnetic induction has been used for more than a
century to make power transformers.
• Qi chargers have a built-in transmitting coil that
intelligently communicates with Qi devices using
a specific electromagnetic frequency, so any Qi
device will work with any Qi charger, now and in

INSTRUCCIONES DE INSTALACIÓN:
1. Desconecte el suministro de energía al circuito quitando el fusible o
APAGANDO el disyuntor antes de la instalación. Antes de realizar el
cableado, verifique si la energía está desconectada midiendo con un
probador de circuitos en la caja de salida.
2. Para reemplazar un dispositivo existente, retire la placa de pared
y extraiga el dispositivo de la caja. Si es una instalación nueva, vaya
al paso 5.
3. Etiquete los cables conectados al dispositivo existente.
4. Desconecte la energía existente.
5. Pele 1/2 in (1,27 cm) de los cables con el calibre situado en la parte
posterior del dispositivo. Use cable de cobre sólido o trenzado de calibre
14 o 10.
6. Instale el dispositivo de acuerdo con el diagrama de cableado
correspondiente, consulte la Figura 1.
7. Apriete los tornillos terminales a 12-14 pulgadas-libras.
8. Monte el dispositivo a la caja de pared, asegurándose que las flechas
“UP” (hacia arriba) estén orientadas correctamente.
9. Realice la instalación a presión de la placa de pared con el cargador
inalámbrico integral al dispositivo y restablezca la alimentación
al circuito.
