Specications
Peel back the label on the back of the keyfob to reveal a screw. Open the case by inserting a at head screw driver
into the groove below the keyring loop and gently prise case open.
Remove the circuit board, taking care not to touch any components by handling only the edges of the board, then
remove the batteries by prising them out from the retainers. Replace the batteries, avoiding direct handling, then
replace the circuit board, casing, screw and label. Battery life is approximately 5 years.
Battery replacement
The token’s battery life is approximately 5 years
The keyfob has been designed with features to extend battery life, these include a two second timeout once access
has been granted and a capability to prevent repeated access to the same door whilst the keyfob remains in the
eld of the reader. Leaving the keyfob in the eld of a reader will reduce battery life.
