O-12 O Electric Vehicle Supply Equipment Commercial NetworkED CHARGING STATIONS | Network Services evr-green® Networked Charging Stations for Public Applications Network Services The Best Way to Connect with EV Drivers Features and Benefits O Leviton’s Evr-Green® public use charging stations offer municipalities, corporations, fleets and utilities high-reliability, plug-in electric vehicle charging that drivers prefer. The easy-to-use stations provide multiple power options and integrate aesthetics and ergonomics with sturdy construction — making them ideal for commercial and outdoor public applications. Leviton ChargePoint® enabled electric vehicle charging stations include one year of ChargePoint® network services. ChargePoint® network services provide everything needed to manage your EV charging stations, including: EV Driver Support, 24x7x365 Drivers call a toll-free phone number (1-888-758-4389) printed on each station so that without leaving the station or their vehicle, EV drivers receive assistance. ChargePoint® customer support can trouble-shoot the station, start and stop a charging session, and reboot the station remotely. Electric Vehicle Supply Equipment Remote Monitoring, Troubleshooting and Updating Log-in to ChargePoint® Service Manager and see real-time operation status for every station. Service the charging stations remotely instead of traveling to each station. Charging sessions can be started or stopped and a station can be rebooted remotely. Need assistance? Call the ChargePoint® toll-free number where the ChargePoint® Network Operations Center is also watching to help maximize station up-time. As new features are added, ChargePoint® stations stay up-to-date with firmware updates delivered over the air. Detailed Usage Reports Station Manager includes a flexible, feature-rich reporting tool. Choose your report format: Charts, Tables, or Export to CSV comma delimited format. Get detailed reports: Select the level of detail you need ranging from per session to across all stations. See station usage by time of day including each charging session’s duration, energy consumed, and payment collected. Measure trends such as average turnover and session duration. View energy usage and Greenhouse Gas (GhG) emissions prevented across a group of stations or all stations. Track and report data for taxes and compliance: Track usage data for compliance with evolving policies that may tax electricity dispensed as fuel. If you are providing EV charging for employees, you’ll have the data for benefit reporting required by tax codes. View charging station audit reports: Collect information about session terminations, station reboots, cord removals, ground faults and station maintenance needs via timely alarms, and export it for further analysis. RFID Card Readers EV Drivers “authorize” themselves on the station using a ChargePoint® RFID card, contactless RFID credit card or by calling the toll-free number (1-888-758-4389). ChargePoint® stations include two RFID card readers: one for ChargePoint® RFID card and the other for contactless RFID credit card. RFID readers reduce station maintenance and increase station up-time as compared to magnetic swipe readers. When not in-use, ChargePoint® station charging connectors are locked in-place and no power is available. To release the charging connector, the EV driver must be authorized. The EV driver becomes authorized to use the station by: i. Tapping a valid ChargePoint® card on the screen ii. Tapping a valid contactless RFID credit card on the screen iii. Calling the toll-free number (1-888-758-4389) The authorization process applies even if you are not collecting payment on the station. And provided there is no access restriction on the station, a contactless credit card can be used to release the charging station’s connector. Rights Granting makes it easy for station owners to delegate activities such as billing, usage monitoring, reporting and provisioning to multiple personnel. Custom Station Groups and Driver Groups Grouping can make charging stations and drivers easier to view and manage. Organize your charging stations and the drivers using them into any number of arbitrary groupings. Define a group of stations just for employees and another group for public use. Set one price for one group of stations and a different price for another group. For companies with multiple locations, organize charging stations by building, state, and region. The possibilities are virtually endless. Station messages are managed through Station Manager. Place a different message on each station or the same message across groups of stations and change messages as frequently as you like. O Station Access Restriction using ChargePoint® Card ChargePoint® Connections and the ChargePoint® card automate the process of giving drivers access to your stations. Businesses can encourage drivers to charge at their stations with incentives and promotions. Employers can simplify the process of providing and removing employee access to their charging stations. Electric Vehicle Supply Equipment Commercial NetworkED Charging Stations | Network Services Continued from previous page evr-green® Network Charging Stations for Public Applications Features and Benefits Payment Collection and Processing Using the charging station, you can automate fee collection with the PCI-compliant ChargePoint® Network. ChargePoint® stations include two RFID readers, one for contactless RFID credit cards and the other for ChargePoint® RFID cards. Using Station Manager’s Flex Billing application, station owners set pricing to suit their marketplace and goals for operating the station. A flexible system, station owners can set fees for different groups of drivers time of day, session duration, kWh, or any combination of those parameters. Before implementing kWh pricing, check with your local utility for any restrictions. O Online Reservation System EV drivers with ChargePoint® cards can reserve charging time on a station. Using either the ChargePoint® website or ChargePoint® mobile apps, EV drivers can check a station’s availability and make a reservation if the station accepts reservations. To accept reservations, Payment Collection must be enabled on the station. Stations with the reservation feature enabled can only authorize charging sessions resulting from a reservation. Electric Vehicle Supply Equipment Mobile Applications for iPhone, Blackberry and Android These free mobile apps help EV drivers quickly locate a station, view available charging ports, map stations along their trip, receive turn-by-turn directions to a station, determine if payment is required, and make a reservation on a station. Mobile Alert System EV drivers using a ChargePoint® card receive texts or emails with alert messages regarding charging station status such as: Charging Successfully, Finished Charging, Plug-Out at the Station, and Ground Fault Interruption at Station. Alert messages include the ChargePoint® toll-free number in case assistance is needed. Training Video-based training is available to help station owners learn about ChargePoint® Network features and how to use them on their stations. Training videos are located within the question/help section of ChargePoint’s Station Manager application. Integrating design and functionality with superior reliability and durability, Evr-Green® charging stations are ideal for workplace, commercial and outdoor public charging. They are available in bollard and wall mount configurations for easy installation anywhere. For applications where available power may be limited, the innovative power sharing feature enables two charging ports to share a single circuit, allowing for sites with single-port EV stations to upgrade to dual-port stations without requiring additional electrical services. For new installations, these stations require half the electrical capacity and installation complexity of comparable dual-port stations. Models are available with two standard SAE J1772™ Level 2 charging ports, each supplying up to 7.2kW (208/240V AC @ 30A). The need for drivers to coil up the cord is eliminated with the self-retracting cord management system, ensuring that the cord is always off the ground when not in use.
