FDB1050 and FDB1250
Control board malfunction.
To determine if the control board is malfunctioning, complete the rotary switch test as follows:
1. Power Dishwasher OFF then back ON ( the Washing, Drying and Clean LEDs will flash
ON and OFF).
2. Press the Heat Dry, Delay Start and Start/Cancel keys at the same time until all 7 LEDs
are flashing ON and OFF.
3. Open the door and all 7 LEDs will stay ON, but will stop flashing.
4. Shut the door and all 7 LEDs will go out.
5. Press the Start/Cancel key ( depending on the position of the Rotary Switch, a specific LED
will come on.)
6. Rotary Switch position and corresponding LED indicators:
Normal Wash
Pots and Pans
Light Wash
Upper Rack
Rinse Only

LED above the Heat Dry button
LED under the 2
LED under the 4
Washing LED
Clean LED

With each position of the Rotary Switch, push and pull the knob. If the led stays ON without
flashing, go to the next position. If pushing and pulling the knob causes an LED to go out,
replace the control.
