Researchers are investigating targeted therapies that
inhibit IL-17A and may prevent the “feedback
loop” that can cause psoriasis and other
autoimmune diseases.
Research also shows directly targeting IL-17A does
not appear to compromise the immune system,
which can happen with some psoriasis treatments.
